26/3/2024 12:09 | Sooty i agree i think we get the big holders to launch a take out. Saves 1/2m a year in costs to start with. I am looking to add tiger | castleford tiger
25/3/2024 18:45 | Market cap of less than 11 million? The only thing I'm surprised about is that no one has taken us out at these low levels. | sooty snipes
25/3/2024 15:19 | Darren have a look at Character Group if you don't understand the collapse of the toy market. | amt
25/3/2024 13:31 | The revenue figures pre covid were £39m for FY19. Last year they were £26.6m which was 10% below the lowest revenue figures in a decade. Now they are down another 17%. Thats 43% down on the pre covid revenue and that does not take into account inflation. It looks like something has fundamentally changed rather than destocking after a covid boom. The share price appears well supported by current holders. Without that support the share price would be a lot lower and be of more interest to new shareholders. I can understand bicycle and garden sales falling after the covid boom but I struggle to see why toy sales would fall from £16.4m to £14.7m to £10.1 I hold no position, long or short. | darrin1471

25/3/2024 13:18 | Anyone know if they managed to rent out the spare 70000 sq ft of space they weren't using? | actscap
25/3/2024 12:39 | MRF I disagree with your comments. If you report a loss the NAV will reduce. Looking forward this year we are looking at 20% growth and a small profit. Share are tightly held with 40% listed and another 20% with a group of private investors. I cannot see the price falling but rather increasing to 300 plus as the recovery grows and the economy improves. Whilst clearly some way to go I think we have strong leadership that will get the business growing again . The company is now leaner and we should be back to a healthy profit before too long. I remain supportive of the actions being taken Tiger | castleford tiger
25/3/2024 12:32 | jeffian, I suggest you read back through the thread for the last 12 to 18 months and you will see the utter rubbish posted by CT on here. | rcturner2

25/3/2024 10:54 | Note from Cavendish concludes: "Valuation .... As discussed above, the group’s profitability is currently suppressed, given the weak macro-economic environment. However, in the last full year pre-Covid (ie FY19A), Tandem generated PAT of £2m; if this represents ‘normalised | value hound
25/3/2024 10:31 | All metrics flashing red. Reduced NAV. Increased debt. Decreased cash. With absolutely no growth net/net in the economy and living standards likely to deteriate further, there is no reason to suspect change. Surprised, the shares haven't fallen further. Perhaps the market is still sleeping. | my retirement fund
25/3/2024 10:24 | I realise that one should never, ever, act on anything posted by anonymous avatars on a free bulletin board but I have to admit I was tempted to look at this by the extensive and optimistic postings of CT. Not significant sums but, if not "lesson learned", at least a salutary reminder! | jeffian
25/3/2024 09:57 | Thanks value brain fog on my part. Last year was horrible but we seem to be making progress in early 2024 and the economic cycle could give us a tail wind later. I think we are lucky to have a strong balance sheet and excellent leadership. The shares are worth more than £2 on recovery hopes and physical assets. I look forward to progress this year . 28/2/2024 14:18 | On the cycling front it is not the e-bikes (which is where Tandem are strong) that are struggling but the overstocking and dumping of liquidated stock that makes general bike sales very tough. | davidosh
28/2/2024 08:42 | HFD. That’s a huge reduction in anticipated performance since the Q3 update on the 25th of January. Wonder if they have a monitoring problem in their finance department, Something isn't adding up if you ask me. Jo Hartley, Halfords CFO needs to explain herself | sooty snipes

15/2/2024 20:12 | This has now moved up by nearly 50% in just two weeks in February...that is quite a move. I hope the markets Tandem serves increase as rapidly or at least lift significantly this Summer | davidosh |
