I'm surprised Somalia is so low. David Bowie's wife Iman was Somalian.

Atalaya,[ATYM.L] just look at the monthly chart going back to 2006 and you will see that there's nothing unusual with Kefi's performance. Its extreme interday low was 52.43 in 2016, Today it stands at 424.00

Harry was the original spark for Atalaya Mining he laboured away with it for years and it is now a solid company which has today announced its impending move on Monday 29 April from AIM to the Main Market. He is a man that delivers and that is why I support him.

Guess the test for bitcoin and gold will be when the brown stuff really hits the fan and its down to what asset classes are left standing after a general sell off.

I love the debates with PS & Harry Dent they are good fun and they go at each other hammer an tong with a respect for each other which how it should be. :) Actually one was very interesting re inflationary Vs deflationary. Both intelligent men.We will see Rob, one can never say never in this game and prepare for all. I think gold and bitcoin are both going higher now personally. Had to change my gold bias when previous tops broke. Heyho we don't get them all right but I certainly enjoy trying. Lol All good fun.

Be fair, they havent gone bust yet, unlike all the other ones the avatar has predicted the same. MNT and TDM spring immediately to mind.

Both long gone now, of course.

"it is also true that reminding all of the company's missed 'deadlines' will have no effect on whether it successfully concludes the finance of TK or not."

It won't, but this Company has to be judged on its previous actions and ability to close deals, as well as its woeful (and in my opinion, dishonest) communications to shareholders. People can speculate on whatever crazy numbers they wish, but what grates is that they never acknowledge their numerous incorrect predictions, nor the obvious and massive geopolitical risks and management failings.

This sounds familiar, now where have I heard this before?

’I believe 5p to be achievable this year. 50p longer. Perhaps 5 years, perhaps 10, perhaps even more.’

Oh aye, I remember now, Proteome Sciences. The figures were slightly different - £53 - but the timescales were similar. Some 15 or so years later and the current share price is 3p.

The difference between 5p and 50p is largely explained by time scale.

I believe 5p to be achievable this year. 50p longer. Perhaps 5 years, perhaps 10, perhaps even more.

I am not buying more as I have a large number (many millions) already and I really cannot justify it.

jaylett - it is also true that reminding all of the company's missed 'deadlines' will have no effect on whether it successfully concludes the finance of TK or not.

A double digit price is not beyond possibility in a couple of years' time when production is currently scheduled to commence from TK and JQ assuming that Kefi is awarded a mining licence for Hawiah and is re-awarded the EP's for the TK satellites, especially Guji-Komto, which they have said could increase production by up to 50k ozs /year vs a minority adjusted production from TK of about 100k ozs per year.

If gold maintains or increase its price, the whole precious metals mining sector will be revalued from its current low. TK would be affected by escalating diesel costs but only for vehicles, not for processing, and most of labour costs are in local currency.

The TK budget is supposed to cover the cost of further drilling of the underground deposit there and the Saudi JV is still drilling at pace to add to existing reserves.

It is futile to attempt to quantify a cap on the potential price.

The mentalist has been doing this over and over again for 20+ years now on numerous stocks, all of the others have gone bust, natch.

This time it will be different, of course.

It doesn't matter how many times you type a crazy price target, it still doesn't make it any more likely to happen. At least we're down to 5p now though, rather than 50p, so that's progress of sorts I suppose.

There's a number of very good reasons why Kefi is priced where it is.

Thanks Rob. They guy is in the ice age still reeling over the closure of his bank. Comical to listen to though as bitcoin which is deflationary keeps going up and he wonders why. It's not rocket science... supply demand (literally)

Its simple really. There is the prospect of a ten bagger (or more) here. Ethiopia is not a bad country - for several years it was the fastest growing country in the World.

But I like the idea of a ten bagger. I do not know of any other miner that is approaching that prospect.

There are so many decent mining companies to invest in, in quality jurisdictions, why on earth do people waste time and money risking their money here?
