This rubbish appears to be registered under the name 'STRIKE BIDCO LIMITED' which was incorporated 9th May 2023. Although the company name doesn't imv match the company number as per their marketing email today: 'Purplebricks Limited (Company Number: 14856837) Registered Office: 650 The Crescent Colchester Business Park, Colchester, CO4 9YQ, GB'

When will bricks NewCo plc show up at Companies House?

Do the Purplebricks significant-shareholders maintain a shareholding in the new company Bricks NewCo PLC ? Is that why they were buying last year and not selling this year ? Is that why Strike can afford to cut fees at Purplebricks?

InterestingIs this the plan all along and why axel haven't sold down their holding? Why don't they our has the asset and put it into the London listing... NewCo will spend €25m on buying a 26 per cent stake in Homeday, a German digital estate agency which has a 50 per cent share of that country's online estate agency market.

So has anyone here written to The Takeover Panel, One Angel Court, London ?
…..to maybe find out if everyone is strictly following the rules and law of the land ?

That would be commonly known as ‘getting shafted’, in my opinion like

So anyone know who the shareholders are for Bricks Newco PLC. ?

And is it really just Strike that have bought Purplebricks? Or is it really in the hands of Strike and Axel and all the other significant shareholders of Purplebricks ?

PS…. Has anybody seen the 40m cash that was in the bank ? Seems to have vanished

2018 : ‘ Purplebricks would be entering a 50-50 partnership with Axel Springer - which is already a big investor in the hybrid agency - to form NewCo, a joint venture company’

2023: ‘ Following the passing of resolutions at the GM (General Meeting), completion of the business and asset sale to Strike … will take place today,” a statement from Purplebricks to the City reads.
The two businesses will run separately to begin with, but the plans is to merge both businesses under the ‘Purplebricks‘ name so the Strike brand will disappear. The company will be known as ‘Bricks Newco plc’ initially from today.’

No-one gives a hoot here Zico. Nice to see you though

Nice try K

Look you're going on about QED day and night and yet over the last 9 months PURP has fallen significantly more than QED.

You just talk a lot of b/s.

Ask yourself why you have lost so much in PURP.

Your inability to let your losses build up shows that you really are a MUG punter.

So who are the shareholders of Bricks NewCo PLC ? Axel perhaps?

Seems a bit underhanded if so, to me anyway

So the new company is called Bricks Newco PLC right. So remember this ?:

Meanwhile this morning's statement also confirmed a Sky News story that was reported on Estate Agent Today last evening, that Purplebricks would be entering a 50-50 partnership with Axel Springer - which is already a big investor in the hybrid agency - to form NewCo, a joint venture company

K

Just out of interest what price did you first buy???

You take the pi## out of QED but surely you have lost a lot more than i will ever lose in QED.

I think all we (well not me) as retail shareholders really need to understand is that, where once we had money, now we don’t

"The reason leading to Lecram's decision not to proceed is, principally, that the financial condition of Purplebricks was found to be significantly worse than expected."

yet shareholders are forced to remain in the dark about these details

You should take Lecrum statement with a punch of salt. Which company makes a stupid statement like that, when they want to walk away..sour grapes me thinks!

"Accordingly, as a result of these factors, the amount of the Net Cash Proceeds to be returned to
Shareholders could be more or less than is currently anticipated and, in the event that the gross
amount of cash retained at Completion is less than £5.5m or unanticipated liabilities arise which
cannot be recovered, it is possible that Shareholders would not receive the amount anticipated or any
return at all."

Two weeks after the company made the above statement, Lecram came out and said the position of the company was worse than expected.

Seems clear the incentive for management is to kitchen sink all the bad news now and get the cash balance below £5.5m so they don't have to pay anything out to shareholders.
