1. I think they grow coffee beans, not "cocoa".
2. The site they are moving to is as good, perhaps better, than they have at the moment.
3. They can, with a little work, have larger houses.

(gold) just freezing these assets has boosted central bank buying of gold just think what actually totally confiscating them would do to the gold price but obviously going to be attractive with Ukraine losing the war now and other sanctions being ineffective. What should have happened is some kind of peace deal when the situation was at a stalemate or to use the threat of confiscation as leverage to get one.

It is not a fiasco. It is a cleverly constructed plan that hit a few unfortunate bumps, and probably underestimated that corruption and inertia that is Africa. But that is behind us, and I say, with a great deal of confidence, that funding will be with us soon. If not this month (which I expect), then soon afterwards.

And Ethiopia is far from your graphic description. About ten years ago it had been the fastest growing country in the world for each of the previous ten years.

Its not the Amhara elite that are running things already posted on Bake and the UK government has pledged 100 million to the Ethiopia this year.

TPLF did not sign a truce after 30 years they were the government till they lost power then tried to claw it back and could not do so as to much opposition in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Ethiopia has a long history of draughts and a lot of infrastructure was destroyed in the conflict but the biggest problem has been the growth in the population then add in Tigray is a semi arid region with a lot of mountains.

We know that Oromo's are the largest majority in Ethiopia, we also know that it is common knowledge that they are being treated as peasants (SERFS).

Extract all the docs you like (well you do like pumping anything that blocks debate).

I'll not post any docs, just warn you. If factions from Tigray and Oromia fronts do decide to get together, where does the ruling Amhara group stand? Out numbered massive.

Oromo's are actually the biggest group in Ethiopia and the most influential when the TPLF was in charge it was a smaller ethnic group as it was dominated by Tigray.
