27/3/2024 14:35 | IMHO, a slow inevitable rise to £2......... Sittin and waiting. | greg the grinch
27/3/2024 11:10 | The share price has recovered well in the past few days. It looks a solid long term investment to me. | mancman1
27/3/2024 07:32 | I find it reassuring that an AIM listed company does what it says it will do, when it says it will. | bigboyblue

19/3/2024 14:15 | It is a mistake to categorise SRC as a "heavy building materials group". Yes, they supply limestone and concrete products but lime has enormous uses outside construction. Construction (commercial and domestic) accounts for 48% of revenues. The other 52% is lime use in industry and the environment. See page 28 of the annual report here for an extensive list of uses for SRC's products: | alter ego
19/3/2024 13:57 | Thanks Bagpuss67 - that's the gist of it ! | llef
19/3/2024 13:56 | SigmaRoc has further to run as profits could double Investors have been warming to a lowly rated heavy building materials group – and not without reason. Heading of IC article | bagpuss67
19/3/2024 13:35 | A friend tells me that IC's Simon Thompson has tipped SRC today. It's probably too big a stock now for him to influence it much tho. | llef
19/3/2024 13:24 | Did anyone here attend the investor presentation? Any feedback for those of us who missed it? | bigboyblue
19/3/2024 12:59 | Sitting and waiting.... I have a large chunk of this and COST, expect both to bounce around to £1+ over the short/medium term. | greg the grinch
18/3/2024 10:40 | Agreed, I am also continuing to hold - this business is going places with a great management team - onwards to £1 and above in time. M&A costs are always large and lumpy, but part are part of a buy and build business model. The medium term value from the acquisitions will more than compensate the initial lumpy outflows. | haywards26
18/3/2024 10:25 | I thought about selling a few, but decided to stick with it. I don't think much if anything has changed from a week ago. | mancman1
18/3/2024 10:14 | I also took profits and exited this morning although I missed the open and sold at a slightly lower price. | masurenguy
18/3/2024 09:31 | Also exited at 68p on open. | aishah
18/3/2024 09:21 | I have sold this morning and taken my profit. Too much BS in that statement for me. | rcturner2
18/3/2024 07:33 | It's hard to judge here as the costs of the phase 1 buyout have been included yet the takeover officially happened after the year end. Underlying net profit increased but 'reported' figures are dented by acquisition costs. I'm continually learning about share trading and it will be interesting to see if the opportunities from the larger group override the impact on eps in the year end results from acquisition. I'm assuming the market will want to see some fruits from the acquisition first and this may get marked down unfortunately. Edit: Sold this morning. | xamf
18/3/2024 07:13 | A brief scan of the results and statements leaves one thinking how to coat a slightly bitter pill with a coating of sugar. Bite into it and the sweet taste quickly disappears. How will the market treat forward prospects? | clocktower

22/2/2024 07:47 | #src Looks interesting... SRC shows strength in a generally weak economic environment ... Management appears to be competent... if interest rates are lowered and the economy picks up SRC could benefit strongly in a new early cycle. I continue to watch... stronger pullbacks could provide opportunities. | worldwidet
20/2/2024 10:33 | I've topped up as well last week at 64.8, | p winky
19/2/2024 12:30 | Setting aside the good fundamentals here, chart suggests strong support around 63.6. We shall see. We're a little overbought at the mo and may track sideways for the next week before more upward pressure imo.(sentiment here may be slightly influenced this week by US miners FY results?). Just topped up. FY results 18th March. Regardless of short term movements I'm hoping for 80p plus by end of 24.. DYOR etc. Does anyone else have a view? | xamf
09/2/2024 17:51 | New insti’s having a nibble can only be a good thing. Onwards and upwards 🙂 | haywards26
