Yes, Barrick Gold are doing very well at the moment. Like yourself, I accepted the buy out. Always felt given time they would start to perform well. Helped along of course by the fear factor.
Have you by any chance worked out whether dividends will be better under Barrick?

My understanding is you will get 6.1280 Barrick Gold shares for each RRS share. These are the shares traded on Toronto market ticker ABX.TO currently priced at about 17.71 CAD which at 1.7CAD / £ is about £10.42
The NYSE shares are different and trade at current $11.62
