30/1/2024 14:47 | Carnival today announcing record forward bookings for 2024. Should be a good read through for the port income. | dartboard1
19/12/2023 09:13 | Encouraging trading results this morning. Does anyone have a view on when dividends will resume? Company say it will be when full recovery from Covid has taken place. Elsewhere they say 'Occupancy levels returned to pre-covid levels during the 6M Reporting Period'. | networker

20/9/2023 08:50 | mjb252 get your facts straight, when I warned you about the CEO of this company back in September 2021 price was at 135, then went down to 79... And on June 2022 I was the one letting the people that MSC was in talks to acquire majority stake in global ports, price was at 89 and jumped the same day to 120... Hope to see you as useful one of these days, or you can continue to write for the sake of just writing BS... | 1bbernie
15/9/2023 15:25 | Not really Lorse. Most people have seen how Bernie likes to knock this one. He's been telling people to avoid it ever since 80p LMAO. Bernie - do you know any reason for the massive price rise today?! | mjb252
01/9/2023 11:33 | No idea, but, I do think that something we cannot see, something we are unaware of is causing this. | casholaa
01/9/2023 11:30 | Maybe some support at 180p? | volsung
29/8/2023 11:15 | Nobody has a clue. Could be an iceberg, could be nothing. | casholaa

18/8/2023 12:14 | Global Ports Holdings plc issued a trading statement for the 3 months to 30th June this morning. Cruise passenger volumes for the 3M period ending 30 June 2023 were 3.1m rising 76% compared to the comparable period last year and were 17% ahead of the 2019 levels. Adjusted revenue rose 60% to USD 43.3m, reflecting the strong growth in passenger volumes. Total consolidated revenues, including the impact of IFRIC-12 Construction revenues, were USD 53.4m compared to USD 45.7m in the comparable period. Segmental EBITDA rose strongly to USD 30.2m from USD 17.2m in the comparable period. Adjusted EBITDA was USD 28.6m a significant increase on the USD 15.4m in the comparable period. Travel continues to rebound and this is being reflected in financial performance. The share price has been trending higher powerfully over the past 12 months and has very strong momentum. Valuation messages look a little mixed with forward PE ratio close to 23x looking a little stretched, but PS ratio at 0.95x top ranked of 3 names in the Transportation Infrastructure market. If trending stocks with plenty of longer run upside potential are your thing, GPH looks to be an interesting BUY... ...from WealthOracle | km18
31/7/2023 11:35 | Debt is a worry as is the large individual shareholding. However I think this is worth a gamble on recovery. Bought in today | volsung
10/7/2023 09:51 | So FY results out today - no surprises, further confident commentary around booking levels for the current year. No comment (that I saw) on any exposure to the issue of the loss of certification for the fire panels reported earlier this week. Was interesting to read that they're looking for a credit rating as a step to refinance the Sixth Street loan. Would be good if they could - but I'm sceptical with the leverage where it is today. | jun_man
15/5/2023 14:37 | I would describe today's results as bullish... as ever, most news has already been trailed, but I think for all of us what we want to see is continued return to normal market conditions and a pay-off from the capex. From the commentary, that will now start to feed through, and whilst I'm still not overly pleased with 8x - 9x gross debt / EBITDA, all of the numbers are moving in the right direction. Net debt down slightly, EBITDA obv up significantly. The $25m shareholder loan I hadn't picked up on before, which suggests that either the company still can't get reasonable debt pricing in the market (and to answer the comment below, the existing financing is eye-wateringly expensive, but the company had to take what it could get in the debt restructuring); or that the majority shareholder is putting their returns ahead of other shareholders. Probably a bit of both. Steady as she goes. | jun_man

13/3/2023 12:19 | Respectable results. If there was no dilution risk here these shares would have flown today. Anytime care to comment on the dilution risk situation here? Is it inevitable or is there a viable alternative? | simmsc
