Cheers, good info, do not blame them As pre previously on here, RNS comments like...unpredictable sporting results...when Man City and Liverpool were stuffed 6 & 7 and they were cleaning up and other bookies said....favourable...definitely led to believe Hills top bods were persuaded out of a fight

The £2.9bn sale of WH to Caesars is delayed because GWM asset management and HBK capital management who own 11% between them are arguing that shareholders didn't have all the info to approve the deal.

Could someone kindly advise an amateur investor like me, why and what is the point of continuing to hold WMH shares now the deal has been done. I accept there is a 2p difference in today's price and the offer from Caesars but to have to hold these until the deal goes through next year, to me, makes a difference of £200. It just seems a no-brainer to continue to hold or am I missing something? Thanks

its the way they said that results went against them on their update too.All the other bookies said they had been great..We all know Fred's going to get the shops,Appollo the online bit .Fred's 6% of the vote was the game changer..He's made so much on the shares too he will get the shops for nothing and they got rid off all the one's that didn't make 50k a year profit...!!!Oh well like you said thing to do is to buy Ceasar's..!

Handily for Hills and even more so Caesars the best 4 NFL weekends for the bookies this season have been all in November weeks 8,9,10 & 11....the last 4. Hills 4th Q results will be astonishingly good All you can do is moan, while buying Caesars (which I have)
