Interesting to see that they are still going and if you read the links in order the fun and games with this company continue! Also includes a quote from a poster on ADVFN

A total shocker!

I have £11000 to spare. Is Chariot a good investment vehicle?

m77 - on July 3 there were 1000 shares traded at 0.48 (probably to establish a tax loss, or clear some open position or short or error. This moved the "last traded" price.

Market cap of £27k, £58k in cash, a screaming buy surely? The same thing happened to WHOG in November last year, still no news from that bag of sh1te either.

The RNS seems pretty optimistic about securing a deal with
share holder value by July 2008. Talk of CRT's death or being
"gone" b4 then is imho premature.

The RNS signifies share trading
suspension on 31/01/08 but no actual delisting until
31/07/08 and if the optimism is borne out by events there could
be gains on resumption of share trading b4 the Summer holidays.

I'll stay in but all imho so dyor.

Looks like something is brewing with the news.

Hopefully for the good of the company / price!

As it stands CRT will be suspended in about 30 days when the 12 months since last losing business date passes, they then have a further six months to find a deal before permanent de-listing. Their easiest course would be to list on Plus Markets in the meantime (costs nothing) so that shareholders can still deal even though suspended on AIM

DIRECTORS need permission to ask for delisting - the exchange can delist it any time for default.

To be delisted it must have the approval of the shareholders ?
A measure of what the market believes a company's ongoing operations are worth.
Enterprise value reflects the actual purchase price anyone acquiring a company would have to pay. Therefore, one should think of enterprise value as the theoretical takeover price.

(market capitalisation + creditors long + creditors, other + subordinated loans + insurance funds + preference, minorities) - cash & equivalents & any goodwill

You're wrong.

IIRC this is now a cash shell and will be chucked offf AIM if it does not do something.

There are some rules about shareholder approval for deliberate delisting; but it can't be hard to engineer getting chucked out if someone wants to.

This can't delist unless someone is prepaired to takeout all the shares and pay the shareholders for the assets+cash less the debts etc please correct me if im wrong.

My buy this morning and a couple of other even smaller ones
are easily outweighed by sells yet the share price gains.

Which will occur first:
- delisting and zilch for PIs on 31st January 2008
or
- corporate action and possible bagger share price gains by 30th January 2008?
