18/4/2024 18:32 | agreed Rob Copper continues to motor along. Main listing IMO should help increase ATYM's exposure and Instis may want to buy in in size...DYOR | qs99
15/4/2024 17:11 | Copper just nudging past 4.40 usd per pound. Not far off 10000 per tonne.. just need some news on Touro or main listing to push ATYM higher IMHO. | robmcelf2
13/4/2024 09:05 | My read is it's designed to reduce Russia's achieved price rather than restrict supply. Existing exchange stocks aren't included.Still, any tightening has to be a good thing for the copper price. | cthompso
13/4/2024 03:40 | Could this squeeze copper prices higher or I guess this inventory will just flow to China instead... | robmcelf2
12/4/2024 13:30 | Can anybody tell me how Antofagasta and Freeport can justify forward pe's of 30 and 40? | rogash
11/4/2024 13:38 | I'd agree, big part of RNS was Touro, why highlight that if you were not confident of delivering? IMO! Main market listing can't be far now....DYOR | qs99
11/4/2024 11:48 | I think Touro is pretty certain, the question is when? | rogash
11/4/2024 11:46 | Hopefully this will be the lowest quarterly production update in 2024 and it all gets better from here. Good that we are about to produce lots of solar power and that Elix has now produced first zinc. Still awaiting news from Touro and for the main market listing. Fingers crossed. | robmcelf2
09/4/2024 10:29 | still in limbo, but this rise IMO bodes well that someone knows or has an inkling no? DYOR | qs99
09/4/2024 10:02 | What is the latest on Touro? | sithuk
09/4/2024 09:00 | thanks, not sure market has really fully priced that in yet DYOR | qs99
09/4/2024 05:01 | For every 1% rise in copper our profit increases about 9%. So in the run from 3.70 to 4.29 our profits would double if maintained. Add in elix recovery improvements and cost savings from solar, and other stuff, and it all looks very encouraging. | brockwl2
04/4/2024 06:27 | Really interesting, thanks | qs99
03/4/2024 20:27 | Interesting. A bit more here:https://www.inv | cthompso
03/4/2024 18:02 | Would be nice to see Touro getting project of strategic importance status this month! Main listing must be close now... | robmcelf2
03/4/2024 17:28 | indeed, showing some amazing strength. ATYM EBITDA should be flying IMO....just need other projects to progress quickly now to help see share price through a fiver....DYOR | qs99
03/4/2024 16:12 | Copper flying - just hit 4.20 per pound!! | robmcelf2
02/4/2024 18:44 | and hopefully an increasing divi along the way. Saw something on twitter about Nvidia recommending copper wire is used for shorter runs over fibre. No idea why but can't hurt copper demand, even as the EV revolution is somewhat slower than expected | waterloo01
02/4/2024 18:37 | Look at that UT...448k... And we haven't even started buying for the FTSE350 entry yet... Six quid by December 31st... | rougepierre
02/4/2024 11:29 | well ATYM intra-day through £4....looks like market buying into the story IMO....and the copper price surge/stockpiling by China....DYOR | qs99
27/3/2024 12:38 | “China is stockpiling copper – and markets are concerned” “China holds most of the cards for the copper needed for the green transition,” says Kieran Tompkins, a commodities economist at Capital Economics. “However, the country’s tightened grip on copper poses a potential threat to the West’s energy transition.” "If nothing else, it will mean higher prices." “The combination of record low copper stocks [globally], our expectation of peak mine supply next year, rapid green demand growth, and low price elasticity of both demand and supply will in our view lead to copper scarcity pricing in 2025,” analysts at Goldman Sachs said in a recent note. " "Historical precedent suggests prices could surge by 25pc over the next 12 months, its economist said." Hopefully, the fact that the EU is nett negative copper, which they categorise as a Strategic Raw Material, will focus their minds on granting Tuoro it’s Strategic Project Status. Which, in turn, will grease the wheels of the licensing process. | theapiarist
25/3/2024 20:50 | Thanks for your response, Waterloo. You are quite correct in stating that, as things stand, Spanish Withholding Tax is not recoverable in an ISA. I mistakenly believed you to be saying that this was a consequence of moving from AIM to Main Market. Whereas, of course, it has arisen as a consequence of moving the company domicile from Cyprus to Spain. Apologies for the misunderstanding. I would say that I returned to this stock 5 weeks ago after a lapse of a couple of years. Am very happy to have done so. Not only for the 20% uplift in the sp, but for all the reasons aired on this board. It's quite possible that the share price may take a breather at this point but with every prospect of further decent rises in the pipeline. | theapiarist
25/3/2024 16:52 | The Apiarist, I seem to recall debate here when they announced the redomicile to Spain that along with the main listing (not happened yet) Spain would have a withholding tax. That would not be recoverable inside a SIPP or ISA. It's in one of the RNS's or it was in the webcaste they did in answer to a question. waterloo01 - 21 Nov 2023 - 13:01:34 - 17261 of 17348 Atalaya BB without the idiots - ATYM Just listened to Q&A and Mr O is correct re 19% withholding tax (an issue if you have ISA/SIPP which is where I hold) waterloo01 - 20 Nov 2023 - 16:06:10 - 17255 of 17348 Atalaya BB without the idiots - ATYM Main listing. Not sure there would be any withholding tax, but no expert on the subject | waterloo01 |
