23/4/2024 16:42 | Strikes from ground staff at Heathrow incoming. Not a wiff of it from pilots btw, don't let our resident scaremongers lead you to believe there's a shortage. | trying2trade
22/4/2024 20:25 | Philmac56 Airlines doing very well across globe hopefully for long time holders it does test 180 | whatsup32
22/4/2024 20:12 | States side airlines doing well today, hopefully it will brush off onto us tomorrow. Fingers crossed...test 180 tomorrow?? | philmac56
22/4/2024 19:48 | Nope, just one account. We've had this conversation about pilots before, it's simply a correction of pay post covid. No shortage, no need to worry about it. | trying2trade
22/4/2024 16:50 | I sense I'm again commenting to spitfire . Can I suggest you just stick to one nickname. | whatsup32
22/4/2024 15:55 | Have you considered that a 20% pay rise doesn't mean they are paid 20% more than those at BA? Have you considered that a long haul pilot does not get up at 3.30am 5 days a week? There are more reasons to be at BA than basic salary, captains ain't leaving and neither are senior FOs. Absolutely no need to panic on pilot recruitment. Especially whilst airbus and Boeing have dropped the ball on aircraft deliveries. | trying2trade
22/4/2024 15:15 | It's not just a case of retaining you also need to attract new Pilots for an expanding fleet. Reason why Captains do not leave is they lose seniority and possibly rank when joining new organisation. Been based at Heathrow is an expensive option for Pilots. EasyJet Pilots have rejected 20% raise what do you think BA Pilots will do to a lesser offer. | whatsup32
22/4/2024 08:36 | Let me know when BA crew are leaving to fly for Ryanair, we will be waiting a while. | trying2trade
21/4/2024 15:12 | Turkish Airlines and airports reaps reward. Jet2 had an open day for pilot recruitment at Gatwick. Only nine? Pilots turned up 6? of them were zero hours . Easy offered 20% and it was declined by pilots Jet2 just raised their pay for pilots by 6% BA will need to drastically increase their offer to their crew. | whatsup32
19/4/2024 10:59 | For me encouraging to hear the exchanges believed to be at an end. No casualties and just a strategy strike. Hopefully puts an end to the recent spat. Will look forward to Q1 results May 10th and expecting to hear further good news building on the EOY. GLA | 1spitfire
19/4/2024 09:37 | Porsche best to put yourself out of the endless torture you are in since June 2016 🤣 | thanatos abysss
19/4/2024 09:23 | Apart from Ryanair all European airlines an absolute suicide trade for years….U.K. shares generally now referred to as “ the bug zapper trade “😂 | porsche1945
19/4/2024 07:34 | Or two little men need to stop their fragile mentalities destroying us all. | trying2trade
19/4/2024 07:09 | How will the markets react today with the Israel news, this world needs to take a moment of pause | wynmallen
19/4/2024 06:40 | Back down we got today. Just as this was going well. | trying2trade
18/4/2024 10:20 | Nice retrace. Inflation news helps and getting Iran off the headlines. Longer it stays that way the better. | 1spitfire
18/4/2024 08:27 | The airlines in the states were up between 6-18% yesterday | philmac56
18/4/2024 08:01 | EasyJet's results out this morning were positive | younasm
15/4/2024 08:45 | Think Bidens stance and anti escalation aim helped. Shows confidence is strong in this though. GLA | 1spitfire
14/4/2024 10:08 | I will just add it angers me we weakly follow the agenda set by the States. Yes its a NATO policy thing but if Cuba launched into Washington does anyone really think they wouldn't respond. Beggars belief the hypocrisy and im not on the left. Israel are going way too far and as a non religious person it angers me more how the majority of peace making countries could get dragged into this. | 1spitfire
14/4/2024 10:04 | Now that Biden has stated they wont get involved militarily apart from a defence standpoint re Israel it's 50 50 for me how this swings. Agree Phil Netanyahu seems intent on the aggressive line and his political position doesnt help plus his credibility if he fails to do what he set off to do which largely isnt poss anyway. All its doing is stirring up more hatred. When will we ever learn. The futility of war | 1spitfire
14/4/2024 09:31 | The whole market will dive tomorrow. That is a given, it is time to bargain hunt. | klotzak
14/4/2024 08:05 | Whattap.. You say huge might of Israel, USA, UK... Why do UK fit into the equation, his the USA instructs us too!! I agree Net, has gone way to far he just wants to flatten Gaza...then move on to west bank. However, I have side tracked.. Do you really think that Iraq, Siria, will just stand back and watch missiles fly over their air space as such. Plus you will have nutter Putin, hoping one of his missiles miss fires. | philmac56 |
