As a drummer, 1965-73, Mitch Mitchell was my hero/role model and I was a Hendrix devotee from the beginning. Still like to listen to the old vinyl records even now (sad old git that I am). So I, too, was saddened to hear of Noel Redding's death. Not sure that he was that unhappy, ashtongray - always sounded like a regular sort of guy to me in interviews, commendably unfazed by cult status. Although the style has become absorbed into the rock lexicon now, nobody who was there at the time will forget the excitement of the sound created by the Experience which was like no other band.

Regards, Ian

As the U2 song screams- "you've got to give it away". This could be "our last night on earth"!

Sadly his time with Jimi didnt seem to result in much happiness for the rest of his life. Fame can be a two edged sword. RIP

Hardly any trades, shares closely held, but an interesting business story - and
main operator has been sucessfull before.

Views welcomed.

My vote is for CRIMESTOPPERS, FEARLESS666, Vicky, COLSMITH and all the other pseudonyms which he/she/they use(s). The posts can be excruciatingly funny.
