17/4/2024 13:00 | Wood hocking itself for a quick sale amidst threat of US listing. Management to be replaced regardless. Should see this north 200p | chutes01
16/4/2024 13:54 | Another article from Sky stirring the pot. Interesting in the light of my post 12 days ago. | iconista
16/4/2024 12:18 | Sparta back, demanding US listing Board to be ousted this week Expect bid from across pond $$ | chutes01
10/4/2024 19:35 | chutes01: Good to see you've mellowed out. Rightly or wrongly I see real value in WG at the level of the current share price | wendsworth
09/4/2024 19:45 | Good write up, could see 200p soon enough, it shouldn't have got to this, reject the Apollo offer and trash the price. Anyway, onwards, and fair play for the recent large purchases, I have been following. | chutes01
09/4/2024 19:24 | Good volumes in recent days. Bottom might be in :) | wigwammer
09/4/2024 11:07 | Thanks Davies. Interesting. "He said: âWe continue to see clear business momentum, with a higher order book, double-digit growth in our pipeline and positive pricing trends in both pipeline and order book.â?"... sounds about right given oil price environment. | wigwammer
09/4/2024 10:15 | Moron alert... "Indeed, most of his bonus gone into shares at 130p, as explained he will have been told to do this by Inst's" What utter tosh. Institutional investors don't tell executives that they must invest in the company shares. Are you thick or what? Don't answer that. Life is too short to listen to the numb nuts of the world, that's what the filter bin is for. | davius
09/4/2024 00:05 | I notice that, unless I missed it, neither the results presentation nor the latest Investor Briefing Pack on the company website talks about the old 'legacy issues'. The previous Investor Briefing Pack (from January) highlighted that the company had 'addressed legacy issues' and that cash outflows from those legacy issues 'mostly end in 2024'. I assume that's partly what drives the promise of 'significany free cash flow' from 2025 and that the lack on mention in the latest results means that legacy issues are fast disappearing in the rear view mirror. | gargoyle2
05/4/2024 16:25 | Indeed, most of his bonus gone into shares at 130p, as explained he will have been told to do this by Inst's What it also tells you is there is nothing of interest coming over the next 6 months, no consolidation, no corporate, only downside as you will witness. | chutes01
05/4/2024 15:54 | Gilmartin buying another 150k at 132.8p. Nothing left for shareholders here. | gargoyle2
04/4/2024 16:07 | iconista; Spot on observations. Doubtless PE is hoovering up cheap shares utilising numerous 'off shore vehicles' in preparation for the next corporate action? I'd be amazed if various posters on this BB ain't on their payroll? | wendsworth
04/4/2024 15:40 | Yes, a major holder will have insisted he put part of his annual bonus into stock, or there would have been consequences. There will be nothing left for shareholders. | chutes01
04/4/2024 15:31 | Chutes, any views on the CEO's buy today please? Nothing left in this for shareholders.. | gargoyle2
04/4/2024 08:59 | As far as I can tell, the current bashing here seems to be an orchestrated attempt to crash the share price. Sky's misleading and singular article falsely claiming "hundreds" of redundancies was dutifully republished by various publications in the oil industry and was accompanied by almost hysterical bashing across various bulletin boards. One hedge fund in particular has been pressuring Wood Group to put the cash earned from the Built Environments sale into the pockets of investors rather than investing it in securing future growth in the company. I can only assume that, since Wood Group did not buckle under overt pressure in the form of open letters to the company, this hedge fund has decided to use another strategy to pressure Wood Group into giving up cash to investors rather than investing in the future. This strategy is naturally viable since UK stocks, with their low volumes and low valuations, are far more vulnerable than other markets to stock manipulation. But I believe Wood Group's strategy of investing in long term growth instead of squandering money by showering investors with short term gains - even though it bucks current trends - is the right one. I will continue to hold. | iconista
03/4/2024 20:16 | chutes01:I echo iconista's thoughts at post 1568. Why spend your time posting such venomous comments? | wendsworth
02/4/2024 21:55 | chart broken down, end of the road as Gilmartin has raided the safe, huge debts were the undoing here 20p just like PFC. | chutes01
27/3/2024 12:28 | chutes01: You are clearly very emotive regarding WG and in the process make some sound points BUT..... let's wait and see. I suspect 'the vultures' will also be doing likewise? | wendsworth
27/3/2024 11:38 | 50p coming Gilmartin is just a bad smoke screen, he will milk this and dip the till as long as he can Massive bonus payments nothing left for shareholders now | chutes01
26/3/2024 17:19 | So bashing WG is your hobby? If you have nothing to gain, I remain curious about why you're spending time here? | iconista
26/3/2024 15:19 | icon, Don't be so fkg ridiculous, a company valued at 900M sterling being affected by trash BB talk, stupid man. The business is finished, the BE was sold off to eliminate debt, it now stands at $1B 2 years later It's all just a scam gravy train for a select few, huge bonus' about to be paid out,and jobs for some punters who are told to be content with £300pm pension fund contributions. All a pack of cards as you will soon see, you stupid boy. | chutes01
26/3/2024 15:11 | There is certainly a lot of effort being spent around all the bbs atm trying to drive the price down. I presume the bashers want to buy as low as poss then ride it back up. | iconista |
