Admission doc set to be released today ahead of trading start-up on Thursday. That may add some detail to the planned strategy

Although deals done by ENQ, RRE & SQZ suggest that your earlier timescale was wide of the mark for deal making.

Looking at it further, Longboat intend to use this small raising to fund a search for assets to buy. They plan another raise (+ debt?) to fund any asset purchase.

Feels like they are a decade late for this type of venture. (Just my opinion.)

That's a very small raising and times have changed ….. progress may be more difficult this time. Did Tom Cross expect Parkmead to advance so slowly, and he ploughed in a good lump of his own funds. How much are Longboat's management putting in?

Also, with a small cap start-up, Longboat directors won't be able to pay themselves as they did in the Faroe days.

I held Faroe shares in varying amounts for years but am unlikely to buy into Longboat.

Hope it goes well for them, though. :-)

I guess that will be a case between the lender and the borrower.

If the borrower can't deliver bsck borrowed shares, he will have to compensate with cash at an agreed price.

There is always somebody who is short of stock, for a variety of reasons.

Last chance to buy at 163p! Bizarre......

Yes very odd, sells are type 'O' so probably PIs, all the buys are ATs up to 164 so what's that all about?!
We should have held on and sold now with the benefit of hindsight but no-one would have expected this kind of price action at this late stage.

So DNO now have > 90% enabling it to initiate the compulsory acquisition procedure for the remaining Faroe Shares.

Goodbye to Faroe Petroleum and best wishes to the management for success in future ventures.

I think the buying today & yesterday is down to Baldrick.......he has a cunning plan....
thegreatgeraldo

That means none of today's buys & sells are DNOs as nothing has gone through at 160p seems strange to me
harry rags

12:22
Why? They have a standing order at 160.00, if other people buy and sell above that, DNO is not getting involved.

Seems strange that DNO are not buying or selling then?

DNO are not going to pay 164p for a few hundred shares, making them have to pay 4p extra for tens of millions of shares that have accepted the bid. Someone else is buying these. Probably short covering or someone who doesn't understand what is happening.

Just now 160.4p bid 161.4p ask so DNO are paying more than 160p

....Some folks are paying over 160p this morning, what makes you think it might be DNO?

if that is the case and DNO are playing by the rules I am looking forward to a small windfall ;-)
