As the weeks and months pass into this precious metals spot price rally, we should be seeing evidence of more forward selling of mine production locking in these higher prices.

The forward looking parts of half yearly and quarterly reports in the sector can start to attract some generalist interest.

MXN40,877 is a new 4-year high for gold. Silver still close at MXN486.

MXN486 will be a new closing 2-year high if it sticks. Gold also edging up this afternoon with MXN40498 being not a million miles from 4-year highs noted earlier.

Previous FRES resistance has now back-tested and held as support which is usually a positive for more progress.

MXN483 is still at its 2-year closing high and not so far off its intraday high (488). Gold at MXN40330 is pretty much in the same boat (40682 and around 40750) although that's 4-year highs.

Ah, here we go again, with this tired old topic of FRES resurfacing.
Naturally, I couldn't resist taking a cursory glance, only to find our beloved advocate of buying high and selling low, Topazfrenzy, enthusiastically promoting it with yet more outlandish assertions.
Bravo, Topazfrenzy, for your consistent dedication to questionable investment strategies.
Pray tell, what losses have you incurred this time in order to justify throwing more money at this failing venture?

The minute I see Topaz pumping a stock I lose interest until I know he/she/it has moved onto the next one.

I suspect that its already had its first attempt at correction at $30 with support forming at $28 since last Monday, if you overlook last Friday's zoom to $30 and back to $28.

The physical markets are really tight, and its a big risk to increase open interest to the short side. Its going up from here in the medium term, and attempts to jam it down risk a short squeeze that could blast it through $30 to $34.

I don’t want silver to go down and I have waited a long time for this, but it’s what markets do they race up then correct, and that will happen so I still think silver will come down to $26 ish, but I also hope it doesn’t.

If you believe in gap fills, there is a pretty obvious one around 470p.
