PiperPeterSorry to say but the gig is up! Lots of wishful thinking in that post. What will it take for you to see things with some realism? Administration? Insolvency? Or PL holding up a sign saying "you've been had"? In sympathise with you because I know what investing a large percentage of your life savings can do to logic & rationality. Unfortunately been there myself with some dogs in 2014-2017 days

Dec '23.....6,200.861 m3.
Jan '24.....6,420.292 m3.
Feb '24.....6,278.141 m3.

Naf just tell your broker you wish to sell 10000 shares at £10 each
If they can find some one who willing to Pay £10
Deal done
You are in control of what you willing to deal at

Same way the company can indicate that they are willing to buy 10000 shares at £5
If someone wants to sell them for £5.00 deal done

Far less manipulation

So, what's the general feeling with regard to where the Company could be in the next 6 to 8 month months, and what salient information can be extracted from the last few RNS's?

Money raised privately for expansion/acquisition?
Mr. Levine putting up more investment money?
Final Investment Decision made on Hyso Limited?
Major investment into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (Molecular Aviation)?
Aton 6, Hyso, and Dual Fuel all generating revenue?
Molecular Energies continues to receive regular payments, with additional US$2 million to be received in September?
New companies created to join the Group?
Parts of the Group listing separately on a stock exchange, possibly away from London?

Anyone any experience on using Matched Bargain Dealing? How does it work? I am with Halifax, presume I will get a Cert and use a known JPJ broker for buying/selling MEN share but is there any indication of share worth when using Matched Bargain Dealing or do you just set a price on buy/sell when trading and hope it is accepted?

Id advice keeping them in crest with your broker if they use JPJ
Their digital platform wend live last month so it will be a lot easier for brokers to trade if there signed up

Hello all just writing to join the annoyance over this. I am down £12k, been holding for years, not as bad a loss as some I see but I agree with the comments re Levine retaining his holding and getting interest on loans whilst shareholders pay out. A pyramid scheme really. I've called my broker as they told me they were going to sell all holdings tomorrow. I have asked them to send the certificate to me. I will keep it to tell the story to my kids, I will put it with my UEN, SER and OXS ones. £12k for educating my kids, who knows if that will be good value! Good luck all.

From memory, Paraguay was on the balance at around £40m. I guess MEN is now effectively a holding company for 3 main assets :-
1. ATOME
2. GHC etc.
3. The debt due from the sale of the Argentina assets

Anyone think any different.

VFP/Rob...so sorry to hear you have lost so much, I have lost a fair bit too but nowhere near those levels thankfully. I will continue to hold as the value of my investment is now so negligible, I'd barely be able to take the family for a decent meal.

CURRENT TRADING AND FUTURE PROSPECTS

On 1 March 2024, the Company announced an update on various corporate and trading matters. In particular, the Company highlighted that the Tapir x-1 exploration well at the Pirity Concession in Paraguay had been suspended due to drilling difficulties. This well has now been abandoned. The Company, along with its partners in this well, are still reviewing what next steps they should take regarding the Pirity Licence. It is highly probable that the Company will decide to terminate all exploration activities in Paraguay which will lead a complete write off of the Company's investment in that country in the current financial year.

Massive lost here too but 50/50 on buying more at these prices and hope it eventually comes good but obviously concerned about delisting & how to buy/sell shares off market??? One thing that bothers me so much is Paraguay Drill was suspended but equipment remains on site??? Everyone presumes duster but nothing offical therefore these shares could still be the golden ticket but wishful thinking I suppose. Still massive undervalued regardless but too many smoke & mirrors for serious investors

Victor,
Unfortunately I'm in a similar boat and probably more underwater if you consider I sold a 1977 911 turbo with 30k on the clock to buy more mrp, current value around 130k. 😔 PL is 🍆

Nice to see you still around Victor.

I think it was 12 years ago when we met at the MRP AGM/EGM. What a sad journey its been with this one since those Steve Gutteridge days.

I have lost 120.000 £ + since 2007
on Meridian Oil and then PPC

My biggest regret is shaking hands with Peter Levin around 14 years ago at the end of an AGM and he looked me int he eye and said "I will do everything in my power"

Since then there was never any oil found in Paraguay and ATOM is a basket case too with no funding in place .

AIM is a disaster full of private placements .

Terrible outcome !

And Peter Levin has never been diluted at 29.90% and holds millions in Loans through the different companies.

His aura gained from Imperial Petroleum was a fad. It never re-materialised.

Brasso and me know the PPC story. It is ugly!

With Argentina income miraculously now funding the group, what's the chances of PL redomiciling MEN/GHC/SAF/Hyso/DualFuel/Aton6 to Switzerland for his own tax purposes?

nafnaf3, what you state is incorrect.

Atome (at current 61p Share price) is valued at GBP 24.7 million, which means MEN's 18.4% holding is currently worth in excess of GBP 5 million.

Or, put another way, 40.7 pence per MEN share.

The current value is £1.4M at 12p a share.
The ATOME percentage is worth £2.4M plus Paraguay drilling is suspended, could still be £Billions in proposed oil fields as well as all other projects (CHG..etc).
I'm also down 90% but can half understand why PL leaving AIM with such a ridiculous low share price

It can't get removed without giving shareholders notice first. So you can decide to sell or hold at that time!

Well he is not getting any younger + we know he only ever looks out for number 1. It is not worth me selling, in fact I took my last ridiculous gamble on ppc/mrp/men & avereged down at 7p. Reasoning being I am hoping he has everything lined up to incorporate these new companies, finance etc. & hopefully he is looking to turn the whole shebang over for a quick & lucrative sale/profit. Maybe he will find a way of cutting small holders out I don't know but I am in this for about £15K so one last (probably futile) throw of the dice.
