25/4/2024 13:35 | Primed for re-list means a marketing exercise underway, telling the world how attractive this is to would-be investors. Regular updates to maintain interest. Instead we have total silence. Go figure. | dr rosso
25/4/2024 12:49 | '...Africa O&G conferences tells me that they themselves have no interest in taking the Co forward into pan-African production.' Angola,Tunisia,Niger A bit of info in passing... 'Among the main criticisms from AIM advisers – known as nomads – is that the cost of listing for young, dynamic companies is far too high, about £500,000 at the last count, and that regulations are too tight and onerous.' | htrocka2
25/4/2024 12:45 | Where's Sherlock - quiet for a specific reason or totally had enough and can't be bothered to comment?? | carrbradshaw
25/4/2024 12:18 | For me this has to be an ongoing handover process, for which total news blackout is a requirement. A year of silence wef around July 2023 for the numerous parties to do dd on the incoming entity and its plans for field developments. This would also explain the lack of progress elsewhere ie NewCo wanting all AWP 65 drilling under its control. Sherl0ck - 03 Oct 2023 - 129995 As far as we know the AWP 1 new well drilling hasn`t commenced yet ... possible this element doesn`t happen on our watch. Imo the big sign-over occurred in October in Luanda, with Dubai since being the centre of co-ordination. 12 months on from an initial agreement in July 2023 would not at all be unusual in such circumstances. BoD (and Sherl0ck under nda) are prevented from revealing what`s going on but shameful the resort to an e-mail technical issue as yet another pitiful excuse for lack of communication. The fact that Tende ppl show no interest whatsoever in attending any of the various important Africa O&G conferences tells me that they themselves have no interest in taking the Co forward into pan-African production. | dr rosso
25/4/2024 11:50 | Tumbleweed towers a new game idea for tende, build a jenga type tower of blocks all having names of the deals we've failed to get over the line.. also including blocks for spam tumbleweed Bick missing rigs etc etc remove a block each time ( bit like removing our oil blocks ) from the tower until it all tumbles down lol. | aventador
25/4/2024 10:58 | 9 November 2023 Afentra is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the Government of Angola for the acquisition from Sonangol Pesquisa e Producao S.A. (‘SonangolR One month later, and Afentra completed. Simple. Presumably similar timeline for Azule. Here at Tumbleweed Towers, govt approval for blocks 18 and 31 came through in June 2023. Legally binding transaction yet 10 months later, still thumb twiddling in Yawnsville, no completion news, no update, nothing. Clearly there is SOMETHING ELSE going on, which they are not telling us about, leaving us to guess what we are waiting for. Transfer to NewCo? Court case? Extra assets added? Money not handed over? Finding investors for these slam-dunk projects won`t be an issue. So, what ffs? Check out Tende Energy Angola and there`s no sign of any funding, whereas Afentra had long since had $110m in place in their Angola subsidiary. | dr rosso

25/4/2024 09:40 | Tende are running out of excuses time to deliver or are we going to get a new excuse for the next 6 months | ace1976
25/4/2024 09:34 | '...The improved fiscal terms...' Obviously not the original deal they started with as can be seen from the increase that the Tende consortium had to put up with in 'round two'. Sounds as if a lot of 'horse trading' went on. Probably the stage we're at and ongoing. | htrocka2
25/4/2024 09:17 | "allows us to proceed with the completion" which means they haven't actually completed yet, although they have got government approval. Similar to the stage Tende is at I think. | vatnabrekk
25/4/2024 08:47 | Their 3rd transaction! We have yet to complete anything ! | rpat2
25/4/2024 08:46 | Commenting on the update, CEO Paul McDade said:"The Angolan government's approval of the Azule Acquisition allows us to proceed with the completion of our third transaction in Angola providing Afentra a material equity position in these world-class assets. The improved fiscal terms for the Punja Discovery is another clear indication of the support given by the Government of Angola to parties willing to invest in their oil and gas sector. This further encourages us to continue to work with Sonangol and our joint venture partners to grow production and reserves as we develop the vast potential of both the producing fields in Block 3/05 and the significant discoveries within Block 3/05A. | rpat2
