In the RNS it only says cheques will be sent out on or after 5 July. So in a couple of weeks.

They think it's all over! It is now!

Well it is the world cup!

Looks like payment will be after July 5th. A little faster than I thought.

Cleared by EU. Just needs to be cleared by holders then the court meeting. Still could be a few weeks or more yet.

Closed my June expiry spread bet this morning at only just over 1p below the price being offered.

As a price like that is available now it may also be worth closing my share holding as well. Can't see any chance of another bid and this could be a long while until payment. No rush at the moment though.

Are we to receive documents in order to accept the offer, or will the cash just be paid into our account.

You can vote if you want to but with almost 68 percent irrevocable undertakings there is probably not a lot at stake.

Otherwise the cash will be paid into your account once the offer is closed. That could still be several months.

Do shareholders need to vote on the offer, or will the cash just be added to our accounts.
Have not received anything from the broke.

Cash strapped Woodford selling out at 76.5p to a few hedge funds, who no doubt are only too happy to sit and wait for the risk free 4.5p balance.

Looking at Antin they don't seem to have any telecom assets in the UK so I don't think there would be any regulatory issues. You get all sorts of trades going on like this but as you say many will look at the possibility of making a few percent by buying at the current price.

These bids usually go through but can take longer than a couple of months. I had Paysafe last year and that was five months before we got paid after the initial bid.

But for me I have a lot of cash in the portfolio so I can wait.

Why would there be buyers buying 100,000 at 0.79, what do they know that we don't

Bought at the tie in with Vodafone as for me that was a really big deal for these to win. I really didn't expect a takeover deal so soon but it would always be on the cards.

I have been investing in techs since before the 1999 boom but I just can't believe the volatility of these cos. It seems greater than ever, no-one seems to have a clue how to value them judging by the movements seen on a daily basis.

I have had so many cos taken out over the years, would like to have seem this one grow but practically everything decent like these in the UK gets taken over at some point.

Hadn't got back to the level I'd marked in to buy more, but a welcome jump, turning my patient paper loss into a very useful profit. I'm a tad disappointed that it got bought out so soon, as I had anticipated greater things going forward, but I won't be churlish: a profit is a profit.

I must admit given their excellent results I am sad to see them taken private. Having said that I've cashed my chips in so on to the next table. Well done all :)
