IG have just closed short positions and thus released the cash. Was a small part of my account so the duration of the winding up process hasn't made any difference to me, but there will be some I'm sure whom will have a lot more breathing room now, and the ability to enjoy their spoils :).

On IG, The shares for Intu are showing as under auction.

What does this mean?

I thought it was all closed.

For all its disruptive powers, coronavirus hasn’t made much of a mark on tax.

Indeed, Intuit mentioned ‘coronavirus’ just four times in its annual financial results.

Group sales nearly doubled to $1.8bn in the three months to July.

Investor’s Champion has run through the performance of ten of the companies in their Ultimate Stocks portfolio, including Intuit, during a truly challenging time. Details on the Investor's Champion website.

Im sure i posted on here last week?
So to say if someone bought a shed load before admin at a crazy ridiculous price before delisting?

From experience I will tell you what will happen. This will be sold from Administration and the shareholders will get zero. Your shares will sit in your account and haunt you for a number of months and then just like that they will disappear from your account like they never existed. That, unfortunately is the reality of an admin share. Been there and done that.

What will happen with this company now and the people who have money invested as you can't sell what shares you have?

Just out of curiosity- so what would be the outcome say if someone bought a load before admin?
Lets say 4000 for $86.31

Not on the IG App it hasn’t.

It is red crossed there.

ON IG it has changed from suspended to call IG to trade.

Maybe an error on their part.

No they can’t & no it hasn’t.

I hope this helps.

On the IG platform INTU shares can now be traded again.

Has anything changed, why would this be the case?

Discounts to red book NAV mean nothing if the capital structure cannot sustain equity to see the benefit of that discount (and the discount was in large part illusionary as asset values are in quicksand until rents rebased at much lower ERVs)

It's sad - there's no one in the industry who post the rights issue not happening didn't think that it was only a matter of time before intu went under Ironically some thought that Covid would help as might give them a little longer if creditors were less inclined to pull trigger But it's one thing to breach covenants, another to not pay interest, but do to all that and then ask lenders for new money when equity isn't putting anything in

I think, as I have said before, we should all have a 'whip round' for Greg for his dedication and contribution over many months to this board.

How about a £25 voucher for a 'shop' at Lakeside?

Greg - you lost - you were too optimistic about Intu properties, and failed to realise that tenants could not pay their rent to Intu in this environment. You failed to appreciate Intu debt situation.

Crispin Odey won with his short bet.

Seems like you lost here.

Good luck in your future strategy.

Just get get to grips that you lost here and move on.

Greg, I think you and Michael Hearty should team up.

You should give him a 'Hearty' hello!
