09/8/2019 10:22 | amunro - when will cash arrive ? The document states: Latest date for despatch of cheques or settlement through CREST in each case, for both US$ or £ sterling payments Effective date + 14 days Hence theory says 15th August. Here's hoping | inki

29/7/2019 11:02 | Glad I held on too - could be a fair bit more to come before the deadline as Brexit worries drag the pound down. | rivaldo
25/7/2019 10:58 | I'm holding as a bet on the pound getting absolutely Bojoed. | runthejoules
23/7/2019 14:32 | Hi, I've sold my holding today as it appears Sterling may well get stronger in the next few days before the scheme becomes effective. However, just for clarity, I cannot find any reference in the original document saying that £4.36 was the maximum amount. Can you paste the relevant section here, so I can see if I missed anything? The section I am looking at is: === A currency exchange facility will be made available under which Scheme Shareholders will be able to elect (subject to the terms and conditions of the facility) to receive their Cash Consideration in Sterling (after the deduction of any transaction or dealing costs associated with the conversion) at the applicable US$/GBP prevailing rate of exchange on a relevant day (still to be determined) following the Acquisition becoming Effective and shortly before SafeCharge Shareholders are paid the Cash Consideration owing to them. Further details of this currency exchange facility, and of how Scheme Shareholders wishing to receive their Cash Consideration in Sterling may elect to do so, will be set out in the Scheme Document and the Form of Election. For any Scheme Shareholder electing to be paid in Sterling the amount per SafeCharge Share received may, depending on the prevailing exchange rate, result in payment below or above GBP4.36 per SafeCharge Share based on the Announcement Exchange Rate. Scheme Shareholders who do not return a Form of Election according to the instructions to be set out in the Scheme Document will be deemed to have made an election to receive the consideration in US dollars. === | monions01
23/7/2019 14:19 | Happy i sold, i read original offer and the payment is capped regardless of exchange rate. | longwell
23/7/2019 12:17 | I sold the lot as well. Pound going up at the moment. | slopsjon2
22/7/2019 14:13 | Sold entire holding at 442.5p | fizzypop
22/7/2019 13:12 | Longwell - that's not what the offer stated in the original RNS. As Rivaldo said on the 3rd July - the offer price is $5.55, it is based in USD. The Pound version of this will float around based on the USD Exchange rate until finally fixed around 31st July as that is when the scheme comes into effect. | monions01
22/7/2019 12:37 | Thought offer said maximum price was 4.36 and would be adjusted on exchange rate?.sell now you are better ogg? | longwell
22/7/2019 11:01 | Longwell - as far as I can see the bid price is still slightly below the offer price. What the actual price will be at the end of July all depends on the USD rate. Currently this would be ~ £4.44 based on today's rate of $1.25. This could go anywhere in the next few days as the new PM takes over and more/less Brexit uncertainty takes hold. To be fair, it would need to drop to $1.23 to make any real difference, so selling now could be a good way to reduce risk and move on. | monions01
22/7/2019 09:05 | Sold 4.42 better than 4.36 max offer price.happy days | longwell
20/7/2019 18:00 | May sell next week as will get more even after charges? | longwell
18/7/2019 16:18 | Whys the price higher than bid? Another, higher offer on the way. | longwell
03/7/2019 11:34 | No. To be clear, the RNS states $5.55 equated to £4.36 at the time, i.e around $1.27 to the £. | rivaldo
03/7/2019 09:04 | Is it not Canadian Dollars? | 1longshorts
02/7/2019 23:14 | With the pound at $1.2595, the offer is now worth 440.6p. Given the 31st October Brexit deadline I can't see the pound gaining much if anything before the offer for SCH completes, so holders should continue to do quite nicely. | rivaldo
13/6/2019 11:13 | Current value of $5.55 = £4.38, current selling price £4.28-£4 Exchange rate to be offered is open to 'their offer'. If the pound goes up further then the value of the 'offer' becomes less, but would not the uncertainty of Brexit, exceed the US$ concerns over 'their' (?) Trade War. | inki
06/6/2019 22:38 | Agree - unless you really need the cash I do not see why one would want to sell. Might be a better place to put the money but I wonder if other buyers are looking at it now | trentendboy
06/6/2019 07:55 | Hold, no dealing costs when sold, money in a few months and outside chance of new bid | longwell
01/6/2019 09:51 | Share price has risen to price of offer; whats going to happen next? Hold or sell? | amunro |
