04/12/2012 07:28 | I'm with TDWaterhouse and haven't received anything yet. Anyone else with TDW? | soggy
20/11/2012 12:36 | If I'd been with Halifax I would have got about £40 more than I got from HL. HL keep killing trees and sending me glossy booklets about how I can save money using their currency exchange service. Don't think so. | zangdook
20/11/2012 12:32 | Received 31.59p from Halifax | steve36
20/11/2012 08:12 | Hargreaves Hale 31.392 this morning so it seems to have been a lottery :)) Well still a healthy profit and the end of what seemed a saga. GLA. | battlebus2
19/11/2012 16:16 | Hargreaves Lansdown gave 31.38912p/share or $1.61329/£ | zangdook
19/11/2012 13:07 | Share Centre exchange rate worked out @ 1.625 $/£. | russman
19/11/2012 09:35 | I'd be interested to hear what everyone got as an exchange rate - Selftrade have applied a ridiculous 1.61730002 (compared to spot of about 1.587)... am waiting to hear back from them with clarification of who set that rate, they have initially claimed the custodians set it and it's not Selftrade's FX rate. Someone has skimmed nearly 2% there :-( | luckyjonah
17/11/2012 13:52 | Sorry guys it should have read 31.883 when i checked it at todays exchange rate. Excuse the clerical error.Any way it's not far off and certainly a healthy profit for all, hopefully nominees will get theirs next week. | battlebus2
17/11/2012 12:55 | $0.5064 / $1.587 Although i guess diff brokers could use difff rates! Mine probably will use $2.00 :( | pomp circumstance
17/11/2012 12:53 | i didnt check it, youre right, dunno where he got 31.388 from | pomp circumstance
17/11/2012 09:39 | From the numbers I quoted above I make it 31.9093p, but I agree others may have slightly different exchange rates. | valhamos
17/11/2012 08:38 | Yes but exchange rates may differ, we will see. | battlebus2
17/11/2012 08:30 | it will be exactly that! 31.388p per share, the offer was in $s to all | pomp circumstance
17/11/2012 08:24 | I make that 31.338p which isn't that far off. Waiting to see what i get in the nominee as that should be straight sterling. | battlebus2
16/11/2012 20:24 | bit lss than the 32p than was stated at the time of the offer. | pomp circumstance
16/11/2012 18:37 | Number of shares x $0.5064 converted at $1.587:£1 | valhamos
16/11/2012 17:22 | How much in English pennies did you get Valhamos. | battlebus2
16/11/2012 16:27 | I received a notification from Capita in the post today that the dollar proceeds had been credited to my CREST account and sure enough when I logged on to Stocktrade the sterling equivalent was there. No withholding tax had been deducted. | valhamos
14/11/2012 15:36 | Hope it goes through then as it's a drag atm. | battlebus2
14/11/2012 15:33 | Hi chaps - chased up one of my holdings (Selftrade) who curiously said that MTT had extended the tender offer date until 1st Nov. I guess as they delisted they could/can do what they like without telling anyone! So that's the reason for the delay - the good news is that supposedly the cash is expected with custodians on 16th and we get paid once that clears... ties in with battlebus2's comment anyway. | luckyjonah
01/11/2012 17:05 | No i was told around the 19th so still waiting. | battlebus2
01/11/2012 14:40 | No, but Hargreaves Lansdown has suddenly assigned a value to them (31.35p) in my portfolio, so perhaps there's been some sort of movement. Then again, HL are pretty arbitrary about how they show portfolios. | zangdook |
