I like fundamentals but the recent problem with the balance sheet makes me doubt about management. Ceo was there when happened and allowed it.

I think it's a question of presentation. If you have to split your results into 'underlying', 'statutory', 'continuing' and 'discontinued' it makes progress quite hard to gauge, and some may think that obfuscation is intentional!
