Hello,

I hope you can help. I am new to this website. I have had Scotty Chares on the IWEB platform for years and all of a sudden hey have been removed. Do I still own them? I used to have loads but I only have about 800 now.

I saw this thread and wondered if you could help me with any advice? I have been emailing investr relations but no response.

moving up - They will probably argue that as the details were given last October anything could have happened since, ie: closed your account etc..

I received mine about a couple of hours after sending a stern email!

Hi Apsoo i find it strange that they want to confirm bank details, when we have already given them our bank details in response to there offer some time ago!!

From what Apsoo was told we should be hearing from Scotty fairly shortly. Might I suggest we keep in touch via this board when/if we hear anything and if necessary any/all of us who has heard nothing by say the end of next week might then try to contact Scotty?

Yes will do, thought it was a bit strange for the UK brokers to simply cancel the shares worthless on Scotty's instructions, surely they should be saying to them where's the proof you've paid out and only then accept the cancellation notice or make the payment to the broker to pass on.
It's a bit like me dictating to my credit card provider wipe my balance off now and await payment later's from my bank!
I know where I would have been told to go!!

yes that is correct, I too was not having a lot of joy as emails went unanswered. However, the notification from my broker last week of cancellation from my account had a mobile number of Manfred, company secretary. I left a message and within a short period received a reply from him stating they would start contacting shareholders this week to check bank details in order that payment can be made. Thus far, this week I've not heard yet.

The above is because Scotty are to begin the process of paying 1Euro for each share held to shareholders later this week, providing you sent off the application in November 2019 when it was announced.
