5th October:

With all matters of principle for the Project having now been resolved with the authorities, the Project finance banks can now proceed to final credit approval for the Project's US$190 million secured debt package.

This is considered the pivotal formal step for Project launch....the Company expects full Project launch to commence in the current quarter as previously advised.

10th January:

KEFI is pleased to announce that it has received confirmation of conditional final credit committee approval from the lead lender....we are preparing detailed definitive documentation for signing between the Project syndicate financiers. Full Project launch, including funding drawdown, is on course for H1 2024.

13th February:

As previously reported, the three critical conditions precedent set by the Project lenders were formally achieved in October 2023 (see announcement dated 5 October 2023). This led to final credit committee approval by the lead-lender (see announcement dated 10 January 2024).

The Company can now report that all the other parties in the funding syndicate, have advised they will this month go to their respective committees to approve the proposed transaction.

25th March:

We are pleased that, following the final approvals from the lead-bank, all other parties triggered their formal approval processes which are now all advancing...all syndicate members have agreed a schedule for their respective formal approvals ahead of full financial close mid-2024.

For the purposes of the probabilities I gave I was thinking -
Short term, 3 months
Medium term 3 to 12 months
Long term over one year

So I think a placing this year is highly unlikely.
And I think a placing under 4p is also highly unlikely.

Personally I strongly doubt that there will need to be another placing.

And, if one was necessary, perhaps due to the outbreak of WWIII, for example, it will be well over 2p.

I guess I was talking from my own
perspective, I bought in at 0.574p
I saw it drifting to 0.5p.
The wider perspective is just like
lots of AIM stocks, not great.
