Why don't you send a letter to TM and ask her to look into
it, Stephen Norris after all is Conservative and it was GB who did not help
the situation after Jarvis won the £104m contract, dyor.

And, STILL no one has wone or got any compensation - this company going down was a farce - false announcements of takeovers, a complete farce of a liquidation - check the signatures on the documents on the day of liquidation - Kjell Karlsen was OUT OF THE COUNTRY - this needs investigating and promptly

Maybe this one can be looked into, as we had our lending
pulled quickly by the banks, after we had just won a £104m
contract.

active mate It's a goner I'm afraid...nothing will retrieve the situation...for a review of the situation and you are bothered I would suggest you look back at all the discussion on this thread at the time about 2 years ago and you will see what happened...basically the Bank of Ireland were in dire straights and one of their subsideries were funding JRVS the name eludes me currently they were looking for companies they were involved financially with and after some cloak and dagger enquiries found JRVS were no longer viable to fund so withdrew everything suddenly...no dialog before...and the chairman just gave in...and It's now history...plus the vaugaries of Network rail in awarding contracts to Jarvis...not a pretty tail....

Sorry HighTech..only returned to this today...you can now apply to the Inland Revenue to have these available to claim as losses against gains for the current year or later years....they have made them a zero value with regard to gains and losses....that's if you are lucky enough to have gains that you have to pay CGT for...over and above your personnal allowance....the value of your Jarvis shares are zilch I'm afraid other than that...

I understand from this link they have now been declared of "no value"...and so can be declared a loss for that year...it is also listed in my portfolio with barclays...as is another... Think Entertainment that went under about 6 or more years ago.....

It was the socialist at Railtrack that conspired to finish off Jarvis. Norris was powerless against that gang of thugs.
