29/4/2023 16:21 | meanwhile Chelsea with £500M + of talent drop to 12th, only 10pts off relegation, keep up the good work Agent 005🤡 | ny boy
13/1/2023 02:02 | Oh dear, another Chelsea thug Joao Felix sent off for horror tackle on Kenny Tete less than hour into Chelsea debut but Potter said he would make a difference and give a lift to the players, whatever Potter on, can I have some lolz Chelsea heading for the Championship | ny boy
09/1/2023 08:37 | They appear to be following the Man U model........ | jatin724
09/1/2023 07:43 | Oh dear Chelsea almost the smallest stadium in London, new billionaire owners who chose a hopeless manager devoid of any ideas, totally clueless and a bunch of players fit for mid table Championship, what a complete embarrassment lolz | ny boy
27/9/2021 08:04 | Suddenly you've cheered up Jack - why's that? (You've only beaten Tottenham) | joe say
27/9/2021 06:47 | City looked very dominant at Moscow Bridge, and Chelski pretty insipid. | jack jebb

04/5/2021 09:36 | It will be interesting to see how many football fans turn out next season. I hope Abramovich is a genuine football fan but he doesn't seem to display much enjoyment. Perhaps he has been a secret Blues fan all his life? Could be, but I doubt it. | tymedici
03/5/2021 21:04 | Eh? You’re not making any sense. Just read the article. I can’t put it any better. | imastu pidgitaswell
03/5/2021 19:32 | penultimate paragraph, second sentence of your Times link quote " There has never been any suggestion that Abramovich was in any way involved." Yes let's not let facts get in the way........... | jatin724
03/5/2021 11:59 | It says no such thing about Berezovsky's death - "There has never been any suggestion that Abramovich was in any way involved." It says that, disclosed in court: there was “an agreement to sell media support to the president of Russia in return for privileged access to state-owned assets”. He described the auction process as “easy to rig and was in fact rigged”. That is squalid quid pro quo that has funded Chelsea. Abramovich and his peers provided Boris Yeltsin (then trailing in the polls for the 1996 election) soft cash and free TV advertising in return for a rigged auction that would hand them the natural wealth of the Russian people at a knockdown price. Within months, Abramovich was richer than Croesus, purchasing super-yachts and luxury homes while his countrymen came close to starvation. “The largest single heist in corporate history,” said Paul Gregory, the economist. But don't let the facts get in the way of a smoke and mirrors deflection. | imastu pidgitaswell
03/5/2021 10:54 | To state "even Leon Festinger, the sociologist, would have found comical. It is whataboutery on turbocharge, and it is pitiful to behold" in your article and then two paragraphs later somehow try to associate RA with the death/murder of Berezovsky, of whose death the coroner delivered an open verdict, whilst stating "There has never been any suggestion that Abramovich was in any way involved" suggests hypocracy of the highest order and renders the polemic article a nonsense. "It is whataboutery on turbocharge, and it is pitiful to behold" indeed. | jatin724
03/5/2021 09:49 | I've read a lot about Abramovich. I think he's a very smart guy, and knows what to say to the right people. I very much doubt he bought Chelsea out of the goodness of his heart. | jack jebb
03/5/2021 09:47 | Interesting to hear Graham Souness saying on Sky that of the UK club owners of the proposed super league, Man U, Liverpool, Aresnal, and spurs were probably looking for a payday when someone came along and bought their club after a super league had started. He said that Man City owners were looking to improve and make their brand more aware ie Abu Dhabi but only Roman Abreamovich, who he had met on a few occasions, was the football fan/nut - he was bothered about the money and did it for the love of the game and Chelsea. Wonder if people will be less critical of him in future? | jatin724
25/1/2021 15:18 | Lots of 'Frank Lampard' merchandise offered for sale on eBay including sports wear etc. Mostly 'hardly used' and 'Extra. Extra Large'. Perfect match for the Sarri cigarette lighter. I wondered if Putin ordered Frank's removal? | tymedici
25/1/2021 13:44 | Is it any wonder that no true football fan has any warmth for Chelsea? | jack jebb
27/8/2019 09:49 | Dave’s replacement is ready and waiting & I think Reece James will oust him as first choice during the season. This lad is seriously capable & he has the award to prove it...Player of the Year at Wigan last season. | michaelsadvfn
27/8/2019 09:03 | Quick learner? He shows every sign of being a Wenger: unable to play without the ball. Against Leicester after the first 15 mins of high tempo football Leicester were the better side. Oh and why would you go to United and attack them? Ollie only knows how to play on the break so you played right into his hands. Will see how he gets on but initial signs are not promising. | allstar4eva
27/8/2019 09:02 | Frank Lampard will be one of the great managers as well as players - just give the lad more than a nano second! The blues have some very good young players - priority is sorting out the defence - a good start getting rid of David Luiz - but what about Dave? I have always liked Dave but FFS he needs to get a grip and fast! | cpap man |
