Oh Dear !

No Oil
No Gas
No DES

Don't want to say I told you so but.... :-) Still the Family have done well out of all those directors expenses since 1996. Kept them in a life of luxury and still does.

KO.

From the RKH thread

buywell2 29 Jan'14 - 22:15 - 35893 of 35918 0 1 edit

The cold weather in the USA has thus far prevented a slide in OIL price

However warmer weather with increased Shale production could see OIL slide to circa $75 later this year

Should this happen Oilies will get hit BIG

Whils RKH is a GAS story I think it won't escape ... 100p possible

Added today

China GDP set to drop to 3% as it sorts it's credit deficit

Base metals and OIL/GAS etc to take hits

Defensive sectors to benefit soon

right i haven't posted for ages, got feed up up with hangman and numpty Chris oil, anyway to all Des holders, i did phone up about my Des shares, apparently
if you have desire share cert then they will be posting you the Falkland oil shares in place of the Des shares about 60% of Falkland oil in place of Des hope this is of help,
hope Falkland oil does it for us now, good luck with it.

this is part of falkland oil announcement,

Under the terms of the Combination, Scheme Shareholders are entitled to receive 0.6233 FOGL Consideration Shares for each Desire Share and consequently pursuant to the Scheme, 212,150,020 New FOGL Shares will be issued to Desire Shareholders.

Application has therefore been made to the London Stock Exchange for the FOGL Consideration Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, totalling 213,344,494 new FOGL Shares. It anticipated that the dealings in the FOGL Consideration Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 6 December 2013. CREST member accounts in respect of the FOGL Depositary Interests in uncertificated form will be credited as soon as possible after 8.00 a.m. on 6 December 2013. Share certificates in respect of the FOGL Consideration Shares held in certificated form will be despatched to Desire Shareholders by no later than 19 December 2013.

My shares are with natwest stockbroker in a nominated account no share certificate & I don't remember having to accept any corporate action on the website so does that mean they will convert them to fogl share then?
tibrahim

Depends if you own the shares and have the certificates, or you used a broker that placed them in a nominated account. If the former you would have been informed by now, but if the latter, the broker will do (a) redeem the shares for cash and pay you or (b) convert them for FOGL shares. K

As a Des shareholder will my shares automatically be converted to fogl shares or was I meant to action something first?

Hi Casandra -
at around 0.62 FOGL share for every DES share - that's roughly 6200 Fogl shares.

I'm not worried about FOGL dilution at all.
It's adding a lot of shares to FOGL- true - but some very good acreage and proven oil.
If they get to a quid a share - you've 6200 quid. Who knows?
I'm just happy still to be in the game.

Ging Gang - hope to hear more from you on FOGL.

Good night all - a farewell to DES
and see you on the Dark Side...:)

Hi Y'all: Thought I'd say goodbye too. Two queries though:

(A) I have, say, ten thousand DES shares. What will I have next week after the change to FOGL?

(B) What are the chances of them increasing/decreasing in value. Might what were 10,000 DES shares ever be worth, say, 10,000 pounds - or has dilution made that practically impossible? So long and see you on the other side. Casandra

OBH - I've gone from from Annabelle Giles to Grandma Giles with the waiting - you're not wrong! LOL

I like the wedding analogy Bard - makes me want to buy a hat. :)

I think we've all contributed poignant farewells -

See you on the FOGL BB sometime chaps -
