27/12/2007 16:59 | pojscott Subject to shareholder approval at a General Meeting to be held on 14 Jan 08 But I don't think "the little guys" will have much influence on the vote. regards | dow77
04/12/2007 12:08 | ANYONE KNOW DATES WHEN SHAREHOLDERS VOTE, WILL THE LITTLE GUYS LIKE ME WITH ONLY 15K'S WORTH BE ASKED TO VOTE? | pojscott
27/11/2007 12:56 | Can the bidders withdraw their offer? As the share price is still below the offer price presumably means there's not much chance of a counter bid. The way things are going at the moment I don't think shareholders have any option but to agree to the takeover. | ringer12
27/11/2007 09:43 | Directors have recommended bid. It is not a foregone conclusion. Somebody else can always come along and bid up the price. Shareholders still have to vote. It will depend on the institutions who I am sure were consulted before directors made their statement. Unfortunately it is difficult to raise finance at the moment so other bidders may not be forthcoming. Probably why the current bidders pitched low. | irenekent
26/11/2007 17:11 | Some of these brokers would make good comediams...I see that Lehman has upped their price target for Kelda to 1100p! LOL. | ringer12
26/11/2007 16:35 | Is it still possible for someone to put in a counter bid even at this stage? | ringer12
26/11/2007 15:58 | Looks like we have been sold out. It looks like a fait accompli. Why have they not waited to see if there might be counter-bids? I very much would have preferred steady divi increases. This is way below £13.51 suggested by Praipus. It seems to have dire implications for my other water holdings. z | zeppo
23/11/2007 18:59 | I am in a sharesave with this company, anybody know what will happen to my options to buy if they do sell out, my options dont mature until 2009 and 2010 respectively | billys
23/11/2007 12:42 | I'm not sure what the RAV is but suspect it may be higher than the current offer price. So to use Tobins Q Ratio (replacement cost) the offer would need to be £13.51+ IMHO or RAV + 25-30%. I should say I do not hold KEL. I do have DVW, NWG and ECWC (which holds PNN, NWG and SVT) do take a look at ECWC if you like whats happening here and special situations in general. | praipus
23/11/2007 08:10 | So what would you be happy with Praipus? | slogsweep
22/11/2007 16:30 | Enterprise value is £18 so this is a bit too cheap IMHO also most recent takeovers have been 25-30% above RAV! So may flush out a more respectable bid. | praipus
22/11/2007 16:25 | Not the best kept secret was it???!!! well done to all longs... | jazza
22/11/2007 16:10 | Marvellous isn't it? Best news of the day and nobody takes a blind bit of notice. I imagine there may be others stalking this company. Wait for developments in due course. | irenekent
22/11/2007 16:07 | Is £11 a fair price? Gut feeling is its too low - £12.50 nearer the mark | slogsweep
22/11/2007 15:23 | Takeover see rns | irenekent
22/11/2007 15:02 | anyone know why the jump today? just takeover speculation or something more concrete? | geoffrey35
20/11/2007 14:35 | Looking strong. Will they be taken over or will they take over someone else? z | zeppo
17/7/2007 10:08 | Hence the weakness over the last two days. z | zeppo
07/6/2007 09:24 | Wrighty Thank you for the info. I agree with your interpretation. z | zeppo
07/6/2007 09:13 | Zeppo, from the following paragraph I am assuming that this years dividend will be paid on shares owned before reorganization. Dividends in respect of the year ending 31 March 2008 will be adjusted to take account of the return of capital. For the current regulatory period to 2010, we also plan to retain our policy of growing dividends by 2% real, in line with regulatory expectations. Hope you understand the paragraph as I did. W.. | wrightey
07/6/2007 08:22 | I am assuming that the divi annouced today will be paid on all current shares - not on the reduced number of shares after the cash-back due in four weeks. Any ideas? z | zeppo |
