5.51 was the lowest closing price for the last 18+ years and that was on 28.09.23. Will need to enter here with 2 tranches as opposed to my normal 4 (due to funds). First limit at 6.03 set.

I just bought some for the income due to similar reasons as you describe. If large shareholders were prepared to put in cash at a higher price, then the current price is likely to be ok. And of course, pnn now has plenty of cash to play with.

Which is bizarre because PNN stated that they'd canvassed large shareholders as to the appetite to invest in their takeover and the results were positive.

They dropped below the offer price a few times today. Hard to understand why anyone would be selling so soon after the offer

They are going to increase household bills averaging an extra £156 a year by 2030, plus inflation. And invest in renewable energy generation.

For H1 2023/24 the Board has declared an interim dividend of 14.04 pence, representing an increase of 8.3% on H1 2022/23 (H1 2022/23 interim dividend of 12.96 pence). The interim dividend will be paid on 5 April 2024 to shareholders on the register on 26 January 2024. Pennon offers shareholders the opportunity to invest their dividend in a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP).

CH, debt increasing, profitability falling and a dividend that is arguably unsustainable at current levels - and that's being very polite.

Possibly tradeable if very adept at reading the fat % moves, however the investment case looks murky at best.

Not really, with interest rate rises, this was always going to get hit, along with negative sentiment around water cos. However with value buyers coming in, it's a good buy and hold for a recovery.
