Good point. I was thinking the same.

Seems very sad reflection...ok, DAMNING reflection !!

on the directors of MBE and MWB

that it needed action by a shareholder in order to get the sale price up by a massive amount.

Well played Pyrrho. I doubt they really wanted to buy MBE they probably just wanted to make sure Regus paid a fair price.

...what a stroke of complete luck for Pyrrho that they bt. large amounts of MBE recently. since if they had known about the preparation of the offer it would be insider dealing, and of course that nevers happens.

Looks like London = corruption and blackmail....

its a cesspit

and of course the FSA and SFO and market regulators do nothing.

I refer to the second sentence of the following part of the Regus offer

imo someone needs to submit an accusation to the C. o L. police and all the authorities.

"If there is any such higher offer, Regus has the right, but no obligation, to announce a revised offer for MWBPL's BX Shares. If such revised offer satisfies certain criteria, MWBPL will be obliged to accept it, even if subsequently a competing offeror announces an increase in the value of its offer."

"MWB spending money they don't have in order to get over 75% of MBE is a very bad sign for remaining minorities here".

...does look strange....

I expect that Prryo Investments or any large investor in MBE won't be very happy....

(if MWB squeezes MBE for money then maybe the 2 get taken down by MWB'd debt costs....or maybe not....have to wait to see....
at least it looks like the 2 of them will at least be around for the Olympics which one assumes will give them both a profits and valuation boost)

No messing around from MWB. For any holders still in I would suggest selling quickly!

Gentleman sorry if these are stupid questions but;-
1) Does anyone know whether MWB has managed to get its bank finance approved, I know they increased the year end as they were still negotiating the terms.
2) Is the bid for MBE still tasking place – again things have gone quiet.

yump its a done deal (i think ?? any lawyers understand the below)...

Irrevocable undertakings

On 12 July 2011 Pyrrho, Duart and GUSMF entered into irrevocable undertakings to accept or (where applicable) procure the acceptance of the Proposed Offer (when made) at the Proposed Offer Price if the Proposed Offer proceeds by way of general offer, or, in the event that the Proposed Offer proceeds by way of a court approved scheme of arrangement, to vote in favour of the Proposed Offer at the Proposed Offer Price at any relevant Court Meeting or General Meeting in respect of all their respective holdings of Business Exchange Shares, amounting, in aggregate, to 10,600,334 Business Exchange Shares, representing approximately 16.3% of the entire existing issued ordinary share capital of Business Exchange. The irrevocable undertakings received represent 58.9% of the remaining shares in Business Exchange not already held by MWB.

A lot of people burnt here then.

Love the way a third party values the shares at 92p, but the "rational" market is going to put them down to 50p.

So much for value investing.

perhaps they wont match it but they need to come up with a better offer to satisfy pyro..

perhaps it just doesnt get taken over?
