Investment banks are king making mega bucks.. That's the main reason why I have brought shares in Consolidated Asset Management Holdings Plc ticker code AIM-CAMH.. O and also the shears are trading at a discounted price.

CONSOLIDATED ASSET MANAGEMENT (HOLDINGS) PLC

As a result of a resolution passed 21 November 2008 Arc Fund Management Holdings plc has changed its name to Consolidated Asset Management Holdings plc ("the Company").

Arc Fund Management Holdings plc was admitted to AIM on 11 July 2006.

The change of name reflects a restructuring within the Group following the Directors assessment of current and anticipated future markets and the desire to focus on core operations of IFA consolidation. The Company intends to extend its Wealth Management Division by acquisition of experienced professional independent financial advisers dealing with high net worth clients countrywide. The Company will also be pro active in seeking additional acquisitions to enhance the wealth management proposition ensuring that the Group can benefit from cost efficiencies of back office rationalisation and management.

The Company currently has three subsidiaries within the Wealth Management operation;

Throgmorton Asset Management Ltd,
Independent Investment Associates Ltd, and
Throgmorton Financial Services Ltd.

All companies provide a wide range of financial advice and services to their clients ensuring that clients maintain a balanced portfolio in accordance with their individual circumstances and requirements.

The Company has disposed of three of its subsidiaries; Arc Fund Management Limited, Arc Equities Limited and Arc Capital and Income plc to John Gracey, a former director of the Company.

Looking around the AIM small cap market I found Consolidated Asset Management Holdings Plc ticker code AIM-CAME

CAMH manages a series of Enterprise Investment Scheme ELS Funds and through its Appointed Representative, they invest in emerging early stage companies which are not currently quoted on a recognised exchange.

All Camh's EIS Funds are HMRC approved. Last week CAMH share price traded up 0.08p or 20.00% to 0.45p. With the cost of the shares being low I have brought in adding CAMH to my portfolio. The price is right, set to trade Up.. the product at this time is right with good unlisted companies seeking funds away from banks.. Indeed at the price my aim is to trade short term holding.
