Thanks jon I'll read through it tonight in detail. I understand old WORK shares will be consolidated 32:1 hence 96p equivalent based on suspension price versus placing price of 140p (and hopefully listing price tomorrow).

It's usual for the company's name to change in an RTO, and it will change to Gordon Dadds Group PLC. Epic GOR. Dealings start tomorrow morning, issue price 140p. Prospectus:

I'll probably start a thread.

All approved at the GM today so should relist tomorrow, originally bought in prior to suspension for an RTO so will see how things go in the early weeks and how they use the cash pile. Any additional views or info appreciated.
Thanks

I gather re-listing will be before the end of the month. GD seems to be an aggressiv and acquisitive firm with interests in both personal and corporate affairs.

Gateley has been a very good investment, and they seem to have handled the partner-to-shareholder transition quite well. There are, though, employee benefits as compensation which seem to be reducing returns to outside shareholders.

GD will have an initial MCap of about £40m, GTLY was around £100m.

Ok then in that case "Just the two of us" :) So what you think, 45% premium to suspenders price is better than a kick in the head?

We will start small in comparison but Gateley have done well since listing. Margins look pretty good also.

Good to see some small buys coming in. For perfectly understandable reasons this share hasn't had any buyers for years so the listing and market for the shares has been completely dysfunctional. Now we appear to have a clean slate and perhaps in due course we might start to see a bit of a market develop.

It really has been a complete train wreck for years but somehow there is actually a chance of a fresh start. I am very unlikely to see my 10p purchase price ever again, but one thing is for sure we are now in a much better shape than when we still owned the recruitment "businesses" (word used loosely).

We need a good RTO at a good price and in 2 years we could actually have a viable investment.

Some sellers and buyers this morning, seems the jury is out on what the future will hold. Not much point in selling at these levels imv may at least wait to see what sort of investment is made. There's a chance we can still salvage something here.

To be honest playful, after what happened at RNSM I can't say I'm that keen either if he can do a decent RTO.

Remember that the EBT shares and Options can be excluded so if we are very lucky the debtors minus creditors might be worth £150k and the resultant cash balance would be £1m or exactly 4p per share. Add on 10% for the value of the shell and he should not be doing an RTO at anything less than 4.5p per share IMO.

Getting us out is actually the best thing he has done for many years. Unfortunately he is fully to blame for getting us in in the first place.

Why am I not surprised he does not wish to return cash to shareholders...
