A thought occurred to me Keith Todd is also chairman of AMO.Rumours have been circulating for a while that with their business becoming more profitable, good progressive divi policy and stacks of cash that they too could be snapped up. Again it's another Kestrel holding! May just have to put my proceeds from FFA into AMO.

Re your 250K trade at 20p - perhaps Pattington? It is equal to the offer.

Maybe the 250K man has just received confirmation that his Barclay loan has been approved (minus the PPI of course) and is now hoovering up the balance?

Ive made a nice profit on this one.
Just been through the numbers, Pattington say the have 53% so thats the booard 4% Herald 8.6% Kestral 6.7% ISIS EP LLP 5.9% Fidelity 5.9% Pattington 25% all adds to the 53% approx
So where is Liontrust 14% and there is also the swedish outfit who have just under 3%

They're an Irish outfit (am I right?) I wonder if they were influenced by the pounds continuing weakness against the Euro in the timing.

I agree Whispa done & dusted. The board have already rolled over.

Much as I'd like the idea of a white knight I can't see it in this instance. The fact that ION were confident enough to transfer their holding over to Pattington just days before the takeover suggests it was already in the bag

20p is on the cheap side however if a white knight appears, this deal that appears to be done and dusted we could give a better price.

Well the recent large volumes point to a leak. Insider trading again! Will they do anything about it? Doubt it, unfortunately!
