I just bought in on the bell this morning, the issue for me with primarybid is that i want them in my SIPP/ISA so buying at 9.61 made sense for me personally. Plus as you say the primarybid was scaled back so i got the amount i wanted at a decent price in the market.

Nope, you are missing the £1.6m from primarybid. £110m raised. Decent entry point for a long term hold IMO. Defensive/cyclical/countercyclical - a genuine all weather stock supported by a freehold estate ticks all of my boxes personally!

BYG raised £108.4m.
Wasn't oversubscribed. They were aiming for £110m so it's close to target and probably will still do well

Big Yellow

It's at a historically low point.
Its PE ratio is 4.85
And it gives a dividend yield of 3.67

net not really. it is simply performing in line with the FTSE 250 of which big yellow is a constituent. The index has been rising nicely in recent days and thus so has big yellow and many others in that index.
