Don't know. HY ends effectively today, we should hear at the beginning of June. The financial backdrop has been stable, perhaps mildly positive so I'm expecting more of the same

If their previous target was £7 RBS were clearly already supporters but good to see the target raised to £8.50. The number as always is irrelevant its the direction of travel

Pleasing reaction to the results, still trading below net assets. Very similar to last year when from a slightly lower starting point the rally went on until they topped out ove £6 at the end of Feb. Pre COVID they were over £7

I really can't see them cutting the divi - and 6.7% yield is very tempting!

Continuing to drift down... I think I would be very tempted if they dip to 400 or below. Definitely there will be some significant challenges ahead for the business, but potentially a good trading opportunity is coming our way.

Good update:
Nigel Terrington, Chief Executive, said:
"The Group has delivered another strong trading performance with robust new business flows, strong customer retention and good margins. We expect to deliver results for the year in line with expectations. This has been achieved despite continuing volatility in the financial markets and higher interest rates.

I remember them well. I don't think that they will escape the market meltdown though, and if it presents more "opportunities of a lifetime" then it would be crazy not to take full advantage
