17/4/2024 11:50 | Leoboy, thank you for that link. | lefrene
17/4/2024 11:49 | wheeze, it's all a guess. Unless one is on the inside of a company, you don't really know much at all. But this would be a good time to stumble across this perennial disappointer, as it finally seems close to delivering on the hopes of 2008. Turning away the low margin business is a sign of confidence, and one has to ask 'why so confident'? | lefrene
17/4/2024 11:35 | Itaconix Launches Biobased Functional Additives for Decorative Paints : | leoboy
17/4/2024 11:13 | All makes sense - thanks lefrene | wheeze
17/4/2024 10:46 | Anybody have any details of the new Cannacord note? | geraldus
17/4/2024 09:38 | An illiquid stock wheeze due to the much reduced float when the 50-1 consolidation happened. Could be that the Sky TV exposure prompted a few buyers? The company would be transformed by one decent contract from the likes of Unilever, because then it would be mainstream, and future high volumes guaranteed. I cynically expect the talking heads of Brussels to ban phosphates in consumer products, once their corporate pay masters have a volume alternative readily available. I also guess those corporate pay masters would want to own the patents, to fully cash in on the good margins that ITX demonstrate can be commanded. So it looks like it's past the dangerous point of failing financially, it's almost a viable actual business with all to play for, and imo a fair chance one of the big players will try to buy it out at some point. | lefrene

16/4/2024 21:52 | He appeared on Sky business TV today | amaretto1
16/4/2024 21:30 | And that is a very accurate post Lefrene. With a 38% gross margin they should be seeing a revenue trajectory going into space. But they are not. | purchaseatthetop
16/4/2024 21:05 | supernumerary, I agree that Mr Shaw has improved his presentation skills. But ITX still behaves like the usual AIM stock, long on promises but short on delivery. The prospects are talked up endlessly, (carrot on stick), yet these wonderous good things to come are plainly on a bus replacement service. Hence the market is underwhelmed by the usual jam tomorrow stock in trade. One hopes that this time the new exciting products actually put in an appearance in the next half year. Dumping the low margin work is in my view the correct thing to do, selling advanced technology at sack of potatoes prices' sends the wrong message. It's possible that the client might reconsider their position, and persuade their end clients that it's worth paying more for a premium product? This is a business going since 2008, and still not in profit yet! Yes the figures have improved which is positive, it is inching towards breakeven, one hopes that a major breakthrough is close. In the meantime the market is showing what it thinks. | lefrene
16/4/2024 21:02 | 'Batman pattern' - lol - thanks for that :¬) | supernumerary
16/4/2024 18:45 | Batman pattern on chart, very bearish. | eeza
16/4/2024 18:30 | JS could ruin the most rocking party ever simply by appearing. | purchaseatthetop
16/4/2024 16:24 | A big fall on not very much volume | wheeze
15/4/2024 19:55 | I agree, but I missed the presentation today, so will have to wait until it's utubed before I can hear what he says, if anything, on the matter. If it's not made clear I'll ask them. That said I find it hard to believe it's not formulation - it's about the only thing that would move the total gm significantly. Anyway, we'll see... | supernumerary
15/4/2024 19:46 | Supernumerary. I fully agree about the much better 38% gross margin on product. But if JS does not clarify what the revenue lost is, product or formulation, then there is a worry that it includes much product revenue. | purchaseatthetop
15/4/2024 19:42 | Not sure what you're complaining about. I thought it was a stonking set of results, and on top of that they're improving margin - a perennial 'I wish...' on this thread - and John Shaw has improved his presentation skills no end - your personal bugbear. Current price is threepenny farthing in old money - seems like very good value to me. | supernumerary
15/4/2024 16:29 | PTT, if they're not making a basic product for the high volume client, then there will be under used capacity of some sort, whether it be equipment, factory/warehouse space or labour. That capacity becomes available for other purposes. Market evidently underwhelmed today by another exhibition of the ITX stock in trade, to whit a carrot on a long stick again. | lefrene
15/4/2024 15:38 | Interest rates on cash positive business accounts after business banking charges are rubbish. Not sure ITX are into crypto trading yet or taking any investment risks on the free cash pile; but the good news it wont reduce other than through spending. . | elsol
15/4/2024 14:58 | But it’s not released capacity. Formulations are basically being a cash and carry for customers getting them raw materials. Agree they need to sell. They are now really a cleaning product company. | purchaseatthetop
15/4/2024 14:43 | To lose that amount of turnover only makes sense if you know that the released capacity is going to be taken up by higher margin product. But it also sends the message that ITX is not in the low margin high volume commodity business. They need to get out and sell the product, it's well past high time this gem made some profits. | lefrene
15/4/2024 14:09 | The gross margin on the products sales is now a much better 38%. I am not convinced that the lost contract is just formulation revenue because otherwise he could really go to town on this improvement. | purchaseatthetop
15/4/2024 12:25 | I wonder where the money's held - in the US or UK? | supernumerary |
