I agree, but I missed the presentation today, so will have to wait until it's utubed before I can hear what he says, if anything, on the matter. If it's not made clear I'll ask them.

That said I find it hard to believe it's not formulation - it's about the only thing that would move the total gm significantly. Anyway, we'll see...

Supernumerary. I fully agree about the much better 38% gross margin on product. But if JS does not clarify what the revenue lost is, product or formulation, then there is a worry that it includes much product revenue.

Not sure what you're complaining about. I thought it was a stonking set of results, and on top of that they're improving margin - a perennial 'I wish...' on this thread - and John Shaw has improved his presentation skills no end - your personal bugbear.

Current price is threepenny farthing in old money - seems like very good value to me.

PTT, if they're not making a basic product for the high volume client, then there will be under used capacity of some sort, whether it be equipment, factory/warehouse space or labour. That capacity becomes available for other purposes.

Market evidently underwhelmed today by another exhibition of the ITX stock in trade, to whit a carrot on a long stick again.

Interest rates on cash positive business accounts after business banking charges are rubbish. Not sure ITX are into crypto trading yet or taking any investment risks on the free cash pile; but the good news it wont reduce other than through spending. .

But it’s not released capacity. Formulations are basically being a cash and carry for customers getting them raw materials.
Agree they need to sell. They are now really a cleaning product company.

To lose that amount of turnover only makes sense if you know that the released capacity is going to be taken up by higher margin product. But it also sends the message that ITX is not in the low margin high volume commodity business. They need to get out and sell the product, it's well past high time this gem made some profits.

The gross margin on the products sales is now a much better 38%. I am not convinced that the lost contract is just formulation revenue because otherwise he could really go to town on this improvement.

I wonder where the money's held - in the US or UK?

Whatever, they are doing with it, getting only a 1.7% return is a further indication of how inept they are. You can literally get more than twice that in a risk free short term money market fund.

One hopes they're not trying to be clever and indulging in risky investments with shareholders money! We don't need a whoopsie as a 'sure fire' bet blows up, and learn that 50% or more has gone to money heaven!

dex - I was just about to ask the same question! Have you contacted the company?

If they have £8 million of investments and cash, why was the investment income for 2023 only £141,000 ? That's a 1.7% return. You can get 5% in an instant access savings account !

Usual talking up the future prospects, but still actual profit remains elusive.

dex, one thing for sure, whatever dogs dinner is served up on Monday, Mr Shaw will continue to enjoy his rewards. One would hope that Monday will bring news of the new products progress, and a strategy for replacing the lost turnover. However I'm not holding my breath, the price here suggest no one else is either.

....so the share price would need to be, say, at least £6 a share for the market cap to even equal the monies spent to date. Probably £8 to £10 if 'opportunity cost' is factored in (this having been 'dead' money for years and years which could have been generating income/ gains elsewhere).

Otherwise this whole thing has been a pointless exercise (other than for those who've been taking tasty salaries).

It's a big number Dex prob 80m GBP at least. Well above current Mcap. In process R&D in gestation about to hatch at last! ITX has taken a few years. Can't wait for diversification success news as will derisk ITX product set, bring back investor confidence and share price will rebound north of placing price.

I wonder what the total amount 'spent' (invested) in this since inception as Revolymer is, including initial capital and subsequent fund raisings, compared to the current market cap ?

Oversold and possibly speculation that higher-margin contracts will arrive soon to replace the contract lost and/or there's renegotiation of the lost contract.

There is no rhyme nor reason here. I wouldn't be surprised if the price next week was £5. Nor would I be surprised if it were £1 (although, sadly, I feel that the latter is more likely than the former)

Have you seen the IP Group share performance ? Hardly an indication of management who are capable of giving quality guidance 🙄.

They held Oxford Nanopore all the way down from £7 to £1. And they've done the same with ITX, even putting more money in at the equivalent of £8 a share (or whatever) !!!

If it is formulation then it must be all the formulation. Why would JS not make that clear?
