In case anyone is wondering when the shares will be cancelled, I received the following from the liquidator."We anticipate that the liquidation will be closed within the next couple of months and a notice of final account will be filed at Company's house. The Company will be dissolved 3 months after that date."

Copper is still only $4.30 and costs are up 30% across the board. Ramblers biggest problem, after the debt, was transport costs to port. Trucking large distances is expensive, which is why an ore sorter and bulk is the key...and a boat load of cash from patient and trustworthy investors...

Does anyone know the status of shares still held? My shares are still showing in accounts, will there be notification when they become cancelled? When can they be written off against tax?

excellence. The finance killed this as was the intention by person or person(s) known or unknown. Indeed if you look back at the RNS's, there were so many occasions they seemed designed to hit the share price

I suggest you listen to the recent podcast, Auteco have the team, have invested a large personal sum in the recent financing, and have a new plan.

They have delivered before , at Bellevue Gold.

The most important criteria is quality management.

We all know that the copper deposit is spectacular, but the small minds of the board several years ago meant that the mine was never properly financed, never had the scale of production required, and transport costs and corporate costs were too severe.

If RMM had 3 mines to divide corporate costs into then maybe they would have survived.

Toby alluded to the possibilities of scale here, and long LOM too, but can't get there if the operation is losing cash continually.

New thinking is required, new cash, and a new team, but most of the same problems will still exist.

Management decisions killed this.

Probably the best thing to do is to buy some Auteco shares and share in the gains if they grow the deposit.

Look at their management track record, plus they're putting in A$5 million into the financing, and focusing on growing the deposit before restaing production.

That all looks good to me.
