Lol I tried 50k after Rns, 40k ,25k, 20k and then 10k and nothing so gave up. They knew this was coming IMO. Oh well those already in done well with big premium. Well done.

Tried to buy 20,000 on line earlier this morning but could only get 3000 at 6.5p. Couldn't be bothered! C'est la vie.

I know. Have been holding from the absolute highs of this stock several years ago, when The Torygraph suggested it would be subject to a takeover.

The moral of the story ... don't buy shares in a company when you can't stand the product.

Not really crystal ball stuff Empirestate. Any deal would come from London Office (IMHO) not Dubai & I think it's been more a case of getting ducks in a row / finance in place . Why ask for 2 extensions otherwise ? As bonio says it can't take that long to carry out due diligence.

I've pondered this for long time empire. It feels as though TF doesn't want to give up his baby and would rather the company go bust / delist than be taken over. Not saying that's how it is but just feels that way.

by the way, i did jump ship on the last bounce up, as issuing a profit warning whilst in potential takeover talks is poor management imo reflecting that there is little intent to sell the business by deterring a predator.
