Busy here!
You can buy this at 212p which is well below the mid price and 6% below the quoted ask price. That puts it on a 17.5% discount compared to about 5% long term average. It has no exposure to Russia/Ukraine so I assume there is a big seller wanting out. No unlisted companies in the portfolio.

Campomar2 thanks for pointing out the warrants here.

Anyone know why they do not show up as a liability on the ADVFN financials?

Looks like green funds like this coming back into favour following nuclear accident and high oil. Warrants beginning to look interesting, convert at £1 until end july 2011, currently 3.25p to buy

Thanks for highlighting this.

I'm no expert but my understanding on a rather quick read through is that there will not be a great deal of difference from buying shares in the market (apart from avoiding costs) EXCEPT that the warrants will be effectively free. I think. Must read it again to make sure that's right, it's quite complex.

PS Had a further look re the warrants. These will be exercisable at a subscription price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share, so look to me to be well worth having, with the share price where it is at the present.

My ISA broker has now emailed me the notice of the proposed offer of C-shares/warrants as detailed in yesterday's RNS announcement

Anyone care to assess the merits of taking it up? Any negative views?

PS, Mike - You seem someone helpful to whom I can ask a question. Hope you don't mins that it's not relevant to your thread.

Occasionally on these boards, posters lapse into code, such as
"L2 3 v 3"
"L2
TEAM 185 v 192
WINS & KBC 183 v 190"
"L2 1 v 2"

I can guess the 185 v 192 stuff (except that particular one is now unfortunately 165 v 172) but what is L2 and all the soccer results?

Much appreciated - TIA

Mike - ref your posting on REH, we followed up by looking at the new investment trust, but we've held the Jupiter Ecology fund for a while through thin, then a bit more thin, and some thin, before the recent thick. Interesting blurb around their SRI though - confirms our view that their strategic areas can't remain a fluffy sideline compared to hydrocarbons, and that water will be a critical resource as years progress.

Personal view on renewables is that while wind energy on a large scale is getting some traction in commercial terms, it's actually the least useful of the renewables - the focus should be on getting better efficiency and much greater domestic uptake of solar (we looked at it but calculated that for us the payback time would be 16 years) and on wave energy, which has much more dependable output than wind and visually less intrusive. Maybe each house should also have a small wind turbine on the roof - after all, we've got used to chimneys and most houses don't have an open fire any longer!

Introduction -
That page include a link to the prospectus, which has a little info on the warrants.

And them warrants have quite a reasonable spread :)

I can't see the current portfolio properly - get a 'Token Type' error in Adobe Reader (and I'm using the latest (7.0.8) version) :(

Earlier (July) RNS included:
1 RPS Group
2 Cranswick
3 Atkins
4 Keller Group
5 Go Ahead Group
6 Nordex AG
7 Whatman
8 Novera Energy
9 Gamesa
10 Shanks Group
