21/11/2007 17:11 | Nice work wozelbeak Knowing - may be an idea to update the AAIR thread header with this new one, if you've a moment | spangle93
21/11/2007 17:02 | spangles, its done. | wozelbeak
21/11/2007 16:58 | SPANGLES, get to work on a new thread my old pal. it might bring some good fortune golds way as well as my way. | wozelbeak
21/11/2007 16:55 | I will leave it up to Spangles wozelbeak - I have created too many threads already ( most of them about uninteresting subjects ). :O) | liarspoker
21/11/2007 16:51 | Liar, kick off a new thread. you have the power lol. my portfolio was looking good until i changed the ticker! now i feel like self harming. | wozelbeak
21/11/2007 16:47 | Indeed wozelbeak - this thread will continue to have a flat line because there is no activity. It will only be when a new thread is created with the correct ticker that we will see what is really happening. | liarspoker
21/11/2007 16:38 | but true. its the same on thisismoneys site. its because of the name change, not been done on here yet. | wozelbeak
21/11/2007 16:33 | I'd rather find out what was actually happening with this stock today! 21/11/2007 16:23 | Any takers for a new thread? | knowing
20/11/2007 16:13 | Note the RNS today: That's some jump in dividend. 0.53c Final Dividend in 2006. 1.8c Final Dividend in 2007 Now that the name is changed from Advent Air (AAIR) to Skywest Airways (SKYW), should we start a new thread? | spangle93

14/11/2007 22:29 | just run through some calcs. That is the final dividend payment of 0.602p a share. So that is 3.85% on just the final!! Profit attributable to shareholders £2,664,176, dividend pay out 1,191,960. Leaving £1,472,216 retained | berny3
14/11/2007 19:42 | Great !! I get a 3.893% yield on my purchase price plus purchase and selling costs so my overall net gain after taxes will be 3.115% on the final divi alone. :O) | liarspoker
14/11/2007 19:04 | Fabo, yes I get 3.8% div yeild. Very happy, suprised thou so low volume traded. Still very interested to see the EVA figure. 2006 was 1.97mln. | berny3
14/11/2007 16:36 | chart breakout looks pretty strong on the back of these results so someone likes them! Have been holding for ages and happy to see things being delivered. Don't forget they have about £5m of net cash on the balance sheet as well so enterprise value of around £30m....which will hopefully fall as they generate more and more cash and as they have stated hopefully buyback more shares. Looking forward to some good press and move into 20ps etc. Vis-a-vis fuel costs, hedging and passing on as much (similar to what happens over here if you travel) as they can should at least mitigate much of the effect IMO. | qs9
14/11/2007 16:29 | If it breaks 18p it'll fly imo. Am I working it out correctly that we'll get a divi yield of about 4% ? | liarspoker
14/11/2007 16:15 | I have a few forecasts for this current year from 2.4p to 2.8p. Personally I think that they could well do 100% EPS growth - ie 2.4p vs 1.2p. Fuel price increases are being offset although they will never be 100% offset ( unless there's a strong treasury unit working hard behind the scenes ). I think the 140%+ increase in EPS is a bit far fetched but I can see them doing 100% especially as the current planes fill up more. | liarspoker
14/11/2007 16:15 | Instead of making quick comments i will sit down tonight and read the results in detail but on the face of it they look pretty impressive. | stluke
14/11/2007 16:11 | TW forecast 1.6p of earnings for this year versus the 1.2p they have just reported. For next year he had pencilled in 2.1p. If you adjust that for tax then that comes down to about 1.6p. The numbers change dramatically once tax is factored in. Oil at $100 a barrel isn't reflected in these numbers either. | nickcduk
14/11/2007 16:09 | WOW I am happy. | knowing
14/11/2007 16:04 | Taking the current tax rate forward I am still sure that we will see 27p on a multiple of 12. If we are rated, like the tipsters say, at a multiple of 15 then we could expect an share price of around 35p in a years time. :O) | liarspoker |
