Assuming this is the announcement of the finalisation of the takeover

With the suspension, what does that mean and does anyone know when will we get paid for our shares?

Thanks,

UL

Took advantage of the rise at the close to sell the last of my holdings here, rightly or wrongly?

Surprised to see the share price strength yesterday and today, but not complaining.

Have no recruitment stocks in the portfolio now, but have some on the watchlist to keep an eye on.

Given their small size vs Adecco, it would be surprising if anything came from the enquiry.

Only bought yesterday at 355p, so I take it I don't get dividend, but 365p is definate or can the bidder still pull out?

aksed this and got no reply.cheers. managed to sell at 360p after fighting with sharecentre to unlock the flaming shares.

Not unhappy I sold half my SIPP holding of PNA on Monday to finance other purchases. Quite bizarre the CMA are looking at this so late in the day.

I don't know about a 5% premium ULINBAC. I am just expecting 365p a share and a small saving on dealing costs and tiny saving by elimination of the dealing spread.

As I have no pressing need for the cash for other opportunities, might as well await payment.

Yes, interceptor2, meeting was today i believe but has to get signed off by shareholders on the 20th as far as my understanding goes. Payment should be 14 days after then.

Shame it come to this in the end. We are losing a great company from the market and out of the hands of small shareholders.

Still think that some of the bigger recruiters have missed a trick here too bwdik!

Does that mean a guaranteed 5% premium for each share owned at current price?Eg if one owned £1000 worth if shares at COB today they ate guaranteed to get £1050 in the coming weeks based on the court order ?ThanksUL

RNS released from today's meeting.

That's that's then, just have to sit back now and await the payment, could be a soon as three week time.

I would have liked a larger premium, just one of those things, maybe next time I will be lucky enough to enjoy a more generous premium. Still a nice profit enjoyed here, hopefully will put the proceeds into another Penna type growth story.

Sorry if a silly question but what happens to the shares owned in PNA when the acquisition goes through? Do half get paid out and the other half moved to Adecco shares?Just trying to understand if it's just worth selling the remaining holding now? Or any benefit to wait?

Morning all, just for info I received a notification yesterday, the meeting re-merger is 14th April, with an effective merger date on 20th April.

"Merger Meeting date: 14th April 2016 Terms: GBP3.65 for each share held Expected effective date: 20th April 2016 Penna Consulting Plc has announced they have reached an agreement made by Olsten (UK) on the terms of a recommended cash offer, which is expected to become effective on the 20th April 2016. Under the terms of the Merger, Holders will be issued with GBP3.65 in cash in exchange for every Penna Consulting Plc share held."

Completely disagree with that mammyoko, as do many others...

PNA are 'in-play' now with plenty of time for any potential bidders to run their slide rule over them.

Dead money locked up till June. No upside. Minimal chance of competing bid given terms, director support and links with Adecco. Shareholders shafted by Directors for juicy roles post-integration. This is a give-away. Spread will widen, volume will be minimal.

I've never seen the mm's allow you to buy beneath the offer, the spread normally takes it out along with the charges.

Thats exactly right Shanklin, why sell in the market for 360p when you can receive an extra 5p as a bare minimum (by hanging on for the bid)..

As you say, not many other places to put ones money where downside is virtually nil, a little upside is almost guaranteed and very good odds offered of 15%+ upside.
