The Board of Ubiquity Software Corporation plc ('Ubiquity' or the 'Group'), the
AIM listed developer of SIP-based communications software, announces its maiden
interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2005, following its listing on
AIM in May.

Business highlights

• Successful IPO on AIM in May 2005 which raised £20m

• Four further commercial agreements signed with global partners Nokia, HP,
IBM and Nortel, and inter-operability completed with Motorola IMS

• Four further deployment licences sold during the half year

• Strengthening pipeline of opportunities

Financial highlights

• Turnover up 39% to £3.5m
• Continued revenue growth notably in key geographies
• Fourth consecutive half yearly increase in revenue

• Gross margin of 85%

• Investment into product development up 65% to £2.8m

• Operating loss of £4.3m

• Net cash position of £20.2m
