03/1/2008 21:49 | Yes NTV - this is looking very perky. Either trading is going well or a deal expected. I suspect the latter or both. Anyway, looking good! | topvest
15/12/2007 16:22 | ticking up at last | ntv
18/11/2007 19:20 | The Cedar TM deal will really help the Talent Management side of the business. Doesn't appear to have cost anything either! I wonder where this is all heading. Q1 results are ahead of budget according to the results. I wouldn't be surprised to see some corporate action soon. At £1m this is a bargain imo as I suspect outplacement services is starting to pick up in the City following credit crunch. May be a few bankers requirement some support! | topvest
16/11/2007 08:59 | No director buying.....would have thought they would load up. | pictureframe

02/11/2007 08:34 | Still cant believe the market cap here am I missing something? Fairplace FY pretax loss narrows, posts opg profit on improved margins LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Fairplace PLC reported a narrower full year pretax loss, adding its current year has started well and that it is ahead of budget in the quarter. The career management and human resources consultancy also said it has appointed Peter Evans as its group chief executive. Operating profit before amortisation and impairment of goodwill on continuing activities was 0.24 mln stg compared with a loss of 0.36 mln, driven by improved margins and effective cost control, the company said. Turnover from continuing operations increased 4 pct to 5.07 mln stg from 4.87 mln driven by increasing talent management and coaching revenue, it said. Fairplace said it plans to rename itself Savile Holdings PLC and that it is confident of business growth and improving profitability. | pictureframe

02/11/2007 07:35 | Guys compare this to say Penna Plc who offer exactly the same service. They made £500k profit last results and have a current market cap of £23 million Fairplace £260k profit and current market cap of £1.1 million !!!! Plenty of room for this to multi bag. | pictureframe
02/11/2007 07:30 | Yes, excellent results. A few things: - Trading profitably; - Writtend down the balance sheet; - Good start to the new year; - Good liquidity; - New business activity Cedar TM which sounds very interesting; - High quality Board ........New name...the company is being transformed! 02/11/2007 07:30 | Morning pictureframe, I added 30K yesterday. Now have a nice chunk of these. I bet Directors are at their keyboards with their finger hovvering over the buy button...:-)) | tonyx
02/11/2007 07:24 | Morning Tony, Think we will see some heavy director buying here over the next few days. Will be adding if I can get them ;0) | pictureframe
02/11/2007 07:22 | Very pleasing results. They have certainly turned the corner & must be in the shop window now. True to form, no "A" on our monitors-well done ADVFN! | tonyx
02/11/2007 07:17 | So with a market cap of just £1.1 million this is stupidily cheap ! They are now trading profit and would have made £260,000, but due to write down on one off Italian office closure made a loss. This should have a MINIMUM market cap of around £4 million or x 3 the current share price, I expect heavy director buying to get the shareprice up as they are sitting ducks for a takeover at this price. Its a no brainer for a rival to snap this company up. What excites me most is this : The challenge ahead is to ensure we retain our share of the outplacement market, increase talent management sales, and to manage our expenses. We have enjoyed an excellent start to the new year and we are currently ahead of budget in a quarter which has previously been unprofitable due to downturn of activity associated with the summer months. We are confident that we can continue to grow the business and improve profitability. | pictureframe
01/11/2007 21:53 | Looking good. Hoping for some major upside from here. Looks very well poised for a reverse takeover imo. | topvest
01/11/2007 14:31 | see you tomorrow bright and early for results | pictureframe

01/11/2007 13:14 | Oh and these guys are down on their investment so will wanting the share price to move up: UK smallcap opening - Fairplace rises as duo snaps up 22 pct stake LONDON (AFX) - Shares in recruitment and human resources group Fairplace continued to attract support, rising 2 pence more to 17-1/2 as traders continued to warm to news that Jonathan Cohen, the former chief executive of County NatWest and vice chairman of Charterhouse, and Richard Green have both snapped up an 11.1 pct stake and joined the board. | pictureframe |
