06/9/2010 02:39 | I held onto mine but are now considering selling some - GTE on AMEX closed fri US$6.87. | rambutan2
28/11/2008 16:59 | Hi Mr 1,The SORL shares are now GTE shares on AMEX currently US$2.58.Do not confuse with GTE on TSX which are the same company but quoted in C$.There is also GTX on the TSX which are a special Exchangeco share for Canadian holders so they do not have to pay CGT. The reason the AMEX shares have gone up a lot today is because the US markets were shut yesterday when the TSX shares rose nicely. So in effect the AMEX shares are just playing catch up today. Current Sterling equivalent price for your shares is around £1.68 ignoring currency charges. Hope this helps. | sg31
28/11/2008 16:20 | Hi Wonder if any of you generous people can help please? I held Solana shares which have now been converted to Gran Tierra shares. In my Selftrade account they are named GTE.N. What I don't understand is that there's a Gran Tierra, ticker AMEX:GTE on something called Amex. It is currently quoted at 2.6(is this American dollars?), up 15%. There is also a Gran Tierra on TSE being shown, ticker TSE:GTE but it is showing at 3.2(is this Canadian dollars?) What I'd like to know is; what do I have in my Selftrade account, are they the same stocks referred to above and why is one up so much and the other down a fraction if they are the same stocks? I'd be very grateful for any help for a confused shareholder! Thanks a lot. | theinquisitiveone

04/10/2008 21:07 | This thread has gone very quiet of late...am I the only one left? | sg31
04/9/2008 20:03 | It was 5,600 BOPD plus gas, at least 6,000 BOE - average flow rate over 4.5 hours. Seems they are trying to down grade the result - very low key wording. The local chaps are jumping up and down with glee. Should sell very well, as this API is at a premium for the pipelines - reduces viscosity, thus improving volume that can be put through at the limiting pressure. | turnright
04/9/2008 15:08 | Taking time to sink in even with the canucks.... | thegreatgeraldo
04/9/2008 14:09 | They don't mention gas, so I assume there was no significant gas | thegreatgeraldo
04/9/2008 13:34 | this one is right on a pipeline this time. it has capacity too, so should be easier to get it to market. see P30. whats not clear is it 5,000 boepd or 5,000 boe over a 4.5 hour period ? if it was a truncated test too does that mean in the 4.5hr test they turned the taps on & off loads of times ? any thoughts ? | norman the doorman
04/9/2008 12:54 | Clearly what the market is worried about, hence the slight markdown... can't help but think this will change when the canucks wake up. Seems they're still sleeping as no comment yet on IV | thegreatgeraldo
04/9/2008 07:46 | Yawnnnnnn. More success. Market will be concerned how they are going to be able to get rid of all that nasty black stuff...... | cwa1
03/9/2008 22:28 | Getting hammered on the TSX dowm nearly 10%. | sg31
03/9/2008 15:09 | I understand the new well "aceites" lived up to its name. Over 5,000 BOPD..... DYOR | turnright
29/8/2008 15:47 | London not paying attention to Toronto again.... that Friday afternoon feeling... | thegreatgeraldo
28/8/2008 19:49 | no. i love it... bought some more the other day. :p | norman the doorman
28/8/2008 19:46 | Norman,Do you think you might be overdoing it a bit?:-) | sg31
28/8/2008 10:47 | two massive buys so far this week. over £1m worth. | norman the doorman
26/8/2008 15:12 | the way that C4 was drilled horizontally is also interesting. will that add significantly to the rate of production of future Costy wells ? 2 drills on the go for Costy field throughout 2009 ? how many wells can they get on this development. GTE has the land ajoining the Chaza block too as TEA's (two massive land packages). it will be interesting to know how big they think this field is as i haven't heard any new guesstimates for a while. :) | norman the doorman
26/8/2008 13:19 | Would be nice to think they're being conservative, as was the case initially with Costayaco!!..... if it's ITRO of 5mmbbls, that'll do fine, C-4 & C-5 are rather more interesting, as well as C-6, C-7, C-8......... | thegreatgeraldo
26/8/2008 12:26 | Thanks norman | cwa1 |
