Summertime and the Trading is Not So Easy
12/08/2019
It's summer and that means a lot less liquidity around especially for small caps. Expect smaller shares to be tossed around like (please add your favourite simile here).
If you are very keen on your small one, stay with it. If not, get out as the later it gets into the summer the harder it can be to sell.
Strange things often happen over the summer: take Burford. From 1500 to 500 in a flash, then back up after a shorting gang waded in. And then the company hit back.
Goodness knows where that will end – probably better to stay out of these things because if you are on the wrong side of the coin, you could have big losses.
I've just uploaded my summer podcast with hopefully lots of fab things for you to enjoy. (Apart from me prattling on!)
Features include shares I like at the moment, another look at the Neil Woodford fiasco, how to trade like Mr Spock, a look at some share sectors, my top 5 favourites plus entertainment including best music for funerals and can you spot those intros.

My new book Naked Trader 5 is done! The printing presses are ready to roll and publication date is September 23rd!
You can pre-order it now on any of the book websites including Amazon. Make sure it is edition five you are ordering!!
Have a lovely summer and I'll be back here in the autumn which looks like it could be a very interesting time for share traders!
