10/2/2003 00:11 | Hi, Spike, You're right regarding the reverse takeover, but that was completed last October and the new shared have already been issued. I think you're right to question whether there is a new investor /partner on the horizon, or maybe a lot closer in view of Friday's trading. The proposal to appoint a new non-exec director is maybe an indication that a defence may have to be raised, as is the proposal to purchase the company's own shares. The first 2 items may be indication of the company's otherwise intention to continue it's expansion. Which will come first? There should be an annoucement in the next couple of days ref that 18M trade (=4.1% of the company, that's assuming the ADVFN fundamental data is up to date as the number of shares in issue was increased), so we should find out more then. Info from Investech site Watch candidate (7 Feb 2003) [Auto] Help Has fallen 71% since the peak on 18 Jul 2001 at 7.75. Is within an approximate horizontal trend, which indicates further development in the same direction. Is moving within a rectangle formation between support at 1.75 and resistance at 2.50. A decisive break through one of these levels indicates the new direction for the stock. Support and resistance: The stock is approaching the resistance at 2.50 p, which may give a negative reaction. Poor liquidity (traded 18% of the days, mean 6.89 mill per day) weakens the analysis. Close prices Monday that when broken will generate new signals Price Indicator Target 3.42 High RSI - 2.50 Short Term Trading Range - 2.50 Long Term Trading Range - 2.50 Rectangle 3.57 2.46 Moving average - 2.25 Price now - 0.00 Low RSI - Price: If close price next day has crossed this value, a technical signal is created. Indicator: Type of indicator generating the signal. Target: Price target for the buy or sell signal (Only listed for patterns). Should it break out to the upside, it's price target is 3.57p. 09/2/2003 13:20 | The price hasn't moved for some time, so the 6 month chart is not much good for indication of next move, but there's a clue in the rsi = 67 and the large volume build up of late...... | tiraider
09/2/2003 11:52 | I am no expert but does this not seem like the company is in the middle of a reverse take-over? Or at the very least a major new partner/investor. (*) the authority to allot shares pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Companies Act 1985; (*) the change of the name of the Company; (*) the appointment of a new non executive director; (*) the authority to purchase the Company's own shares. Regards - Mike Edwards | spike_1
07/2/2003 19:50 | 48 Million shares traded late today. The last trade was 18M - that's 4.1% of the company in a single trade. Has anyone any idea what is going on? Is this a stakebuilding exercise? | tiraider

28/1/2003 10:33 | tiraider Lock-in agreements are often not worth the paper they are written on. What are the sanctions against anyone ignoring any such agreement? Usually none at all. More than any share I have ever dealt with, this one operates a false market day to day. One price for Joe public, another for those in the club. However, an NMS of £300 says it all really. The MMs just do not want to know. Because of the merger, the true financial details have been well and truely obfuscated. Until they put out some new numbers, it is impossible to value this company. | rocketeer
27/1/2003 20:23 | Rocketeer; I agree, that's why I was asking. I thought those trades must have been buys. The shares placed in the recent deal are landlocked for at least 1 year - so they can be excluded. Bearing in mind the small daily average no. of shares traded, this was exceptional volume. If they were sells, then the price has to go down... If buys....it has to be institutional or stakebuilding by who......? As you said, basically as small shareholders (.5M), we are not going to get out at more than 1.5p........maybe the chance to get out higher is coming?? rgds | tiraider
27/1/2003 19:54 | tiraider There were 18.5million shares traded at around the bid-price. This company now has ~710million shares in issue (current market cap = ~£16million). So, 18.5m shares at ~2p = ~£370,000. However, current NMS is only 15,000 = £300 (ie. bid price guarenteed). If you or I tried to sell any number of shares well above NMS, we would not get 2p. Last time I got a quote for a 50,000 sell (about 3 months ago) I was offered only ~1.75p. I doubt that situation has changed much, but by all means give it a try if you have any doubt. So the question is, how were 18.5 million shifted at ~2p? Well bear in mind that the shares placed in the recent merger, were also at 2p. So, some deals may still be going on (agreed) at that price. This would only apply to the bigger players. I am not optimistic about the current situation with this company. The smaller investors seem trapped. Altogether, not a good situation. | rocketeer
27/1/2003 18:09 | Don't suppose anyone can throw any light on the late volume here? 19.5M. What's going on? | tiraider
22/1/2003 09:33 | More buying today, volume building for a chart break out?? | tiraider
21/1/2003 16:32 | 1.2M buys to-day, ZIP coming to life - is it following the telecom revival? | tiraider
03/1/2003 17:38 | "Consequently in total, and including those options outside the scheme relating to rights to options prior to the formation of Zipcom, Grahame Purvis has an interest in 35,047,138 options and Stewart Porter has an interest in 33,682,713 options." From rns of 23 Dec- - Provided advfn fundamental are up to date this over 15% dulution in respect of the Directors options alone and all repriced! - Too rich imo - Any other view on the dilutive effect of these options? | pugugly
26/12/2002 16:29 | What did I do with that Zipper Decoder ring? | energyi
26/12/2002 10:14 | ZIP is a seriously undervalued company. There is a large seller around; any buys are met with sells. So share price goes nowhere. | tiraider
11/12/2002 23:30 | bvssam this is a gready management with an ambitious target, phone them an see what you think. I think they have a good business and a fairly valued price. there is obviously a large seller around so watch the volume if he is cleared out they have an idea and the cash to follow it through. I think but i am down many thousands in them. | foxed
