And the political situation too....
And they have valuable assets.
Unlike most AIM oilers...they are getting oil and gas out of the ground and are making money.
This not to be compared to the legion of penny oilers.

It does kinda look as if the share price is basically reacting to the increases in the price of oil, doesn't it? But this good rise is very welcome for whatever the reason!

Just think they will keep the lid on this, people will be seeing if there is a run up prior to results / news on the fields etc.
If there is not they may be tempted to bale and hand their shares over to mm etc.

Just my idle thoughts.

Market capitalization is just reflection of the market direction. Every Oil&Gas company valuation depends mainly on reserves and production, not on technical analysis or market's mood. Take a closer look to the geology of the region where Zoltav's assets are located and you will find out interesting things.

Do not look only what is going with current market price. The most important in every oil and gas company are reserves. This is real value. Zoltav's Koltogor filed which is located in Western Siberia in the biggest syncline in the region whit 60% of free water in the reservoir. From the other side gas reserves located on the eastern flank of gas license area are very deep and not explored sufficiently with huge percentage of H2S making development extremely expensive. The gas reserves may become attractive if gas price rises three time, which is unlikely due to strong government price regulation. Koltogor's oil will never be economical, at least in next 10 years. So, any increase from the realistic February share price is just cosmetic and not improved real perfromance.

Yep. - First move is down but only the bid! As the shares are so tightly held and we all seem to have targets to sell at multiples of today's price - I don't expect there to be too many sellers! Results in less than 2 weeks. This is probably just one of the little pull backs the MMs seem to do after each leg up and before the next rise......

Oh i see RA is bothering to give a whole load of false information to the market.
The whole thing is a big scam for him to have constant placings at .2p until they go bust like the majority of AIM oilers.
What is more he is teaching his son how to get by in life, they are so desperate for money they are reduced to this.

Zoltav real value is not more then USD50 mill. concerning current market oil&gas price. On the top of that Koltogor reserves are false, there is no oil. Gas reserves are limited only on current producing fields. There is no upside at all. Wrong choice!

Very little stock about too.
Of course that can work both ways, one must be realistic less get accused of rumping or whaetver they call it.
