The Company will make an announcement as soon as there is any progress in relation to its Fundraising efforts or otherwise, but in any event before the end of the year.

All defined terms in this announcement shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the announcement of 30 November 2015.

The Company has shown that the zinc concentrate can be simply and economically upgraded to a zinc oxide chemical having about twice the value of that which is currently being received.

The Directors estimate that a plant capable of upgrading 50% of KRP's zinc concentrate would cost about US$20 million and take one year to develop following six months pre-development work. The upgrading operation could, on certain assumptions* generate an additional US$11.7 million of EBITDA (zinc price of US$1,600 per tonne) per annum at plant level and reduce the break-even zinc price of the combined operations to about US$1,300 per tonne. The upgrading potential announced today could, therefore, have a significant medium term impact on the prospects for the Company.

Zinc still in a downtrend stemming back to 5 may with the high at 2404. the top end of that res line comes in today at 1640. technically if zinc can pierce this res line then it has a good chance to recover. hard to get bullish yet about commodities however...... long around 0.95 so got some meat in the game.

This stock has always had insti and LTH support so any request for funding will be given a green light IMO. Options taken at 13p and have always received insti support. This was 8p in October. Operational efficiency work carried out this year so they are ready to optimise production. Further efficiencies anticipate $1,300 per tonne zinc production. Zinc is on the climb
