Huge volume yesterday and today...

I like results days for Zetar- it normally results in tip sheets saying 'buy'. I am buying tormoorw again first thing; I expect a good 15-20% rise this year as acquisitions start to produce the returns.

All grist to the mill.

Like the quote 'Now 52, Beecham heads a business with sales of £45m'. Think that may need to be upgraded following the next set of results.

intersting piece on Clive Beecham in the Sunday Times BUsiness section 'how I made it'. A good idea and hard work apparently (and a helpful family, and a bit of luck as ever).

Cezary - if you are still around - can we have a clickable link to the company website in the header please? Always useful, especially when the advfn data page doesn't include it

Share price up fivefold from 100p floatation, in just under two years.

I think it was Shares mag that put me on to these - well over a year ago now. ANd I know The Momentum Investor also pushes them (I subscribe to it)

we have lift off - this company is tracked in tipsheets and Share mag; anyone know of any coverage?

well I've added and of course paid more than 450p for them but I see the sell already matches my buy price - a good day in the offing following the Dioectors purchases I think

Agree with you guys - this does look cheap. I haven't had a chance to look at this properly though. In particular - how much of the rise in turnover is organic growth etc.

I was surprised there wasn't much reaction to yesterday's statement...

Silverfern,
Am also trying to buy some at the moment (since yesterday actually) - having trouble. Did some back of an envelope calculations and think this is a no brainer. Comparing last years half year update with this years note the change from quiet first half to quiet first quarter, plus of course the massive increase in turnover. Very positive.

This is from Sept tradin update:
"Zetar said its recent acquisitions Readifoods and Humdinger
are trading in line with the board's expectations and are expected to make a
significant contribution to Zetar sales and profits in the next full year ending April 30 2007.
Zetar said it has enough finances to take advantage of earnings enhancing
acquisition opportunities as they arise, and a number of potential targets in
this regard have already been identified" (they've since taken over Salamanda)
I expect further tips this month in the share rags and am tempted to add my holding (though I see I last did this at 450p!)

The statement gives a lot of comfort; they are clearly adept at integrating their acquisitions straight into the growth market in which they've postioned themselves. I will add on weakness (got in around 300p and have bvought three times since). DYOR.

And again - 30,000 @ 4.57 = £137,100
Sorely tempted to top up.

Large trade again - 37,500 @ 4.55 = £170,625
Just a few days before trading update...positive or what?

Might be interesting but I would also be happy with 'steady as she goes'.

Zetar, the Aim-listed confectionery and snack food company, looks likely to continue doing deals having done three so far and to fund them by issuing shares. Put it on the watch list, and buy when you can, says the Sunday Telegraph.

Quite agree, don't want all the usual rampers and idiots fouling this one up. Quality stock rising nicely .... let it be.

It's a fortnight since anyone posted on this company so I'd just like to say something, which is that this is the only share I own that is higher than it was in May, so I'm a big fan, even if hardly anyone else is.
